The accommodation has solid basic amenities and is located in a small village on the edge of the forest. Here you can simply relax, enjoy great excursions into nature or to the Hohenwarte reservoir (Thuringian Sea), which can be reached on foot via a 1.2 km hiking trail. Secluded slate mill with a manor house and barn on a small stream next to a huge clearing not far from Kronach. Carefully renovated in the last three years, furnished exclusively with old furniture, converted Bohemian cross-vaulted stable to 80 sqm large kitchen-living room. Bread oven, casement windows, central heating. Butterflies without end, fireflies, the black stork ... Together with the newly renovated Gesindehaus right next door, it can accommodate over 22 people.

Free parking is also available in the fenced property and in front of the garage.

When master baker Hans Lange settled here in Saalfed in 1546 with the secret Nuremberg gingerbread recipe, no one could have guessed that his business would continue for 19 generations. We, as the 20th generation, cannot bake as well as our ancestors, but we would like to welcome you instead to our former bakery shop and thus continue the family tradition in a slightly different form. Our vacation home complex was built and designed with loving detail work over many years. It is located on the outskirts of our small village.
