Lake house holiday rentals in Lechlade

Beccy was great from start to finish. Rented the property for 3 weeks and during this time Beccy contacted me on numerous occasions to ensure all was ok. Great property and exactly as described. Very responsive host and good value for money. Fantastic location. Would definitely book again.

What a fabulous stay at Sophia’s place! Made even better with wall-to-wall sunshine to enjoy the deck and the lake to there maximum potential. Beautifully appointed and decorated house with clean and comfortable accommodation throughout - even better than the photos show. Great walks and activities near by and a supper place to gather and spend time as a group.

This place was spacious, modern, clean, and very well equipped for 5 adults and several babies requiring high chairs and plastic spoons and beakers. Lots of cutlery and crockery too - no washing up before you could sit down to thd next meal, which I've known in other place. There was a huge fridge and a big freezer; the appliances were clean, new and easy to use. Lovely linen and comfy beds. Nicola was speedy in her responses and allowed us an earlier check-in and later check out which was massively helpful we had a lovely stay and would certainly consider returning. Thank you Nicola

Great house with plenty of added extras, particularly the kayaks with access to lakes

We had the best time at Di's house. It was the perfect place for our family get together. The house itself is fantastic, spacious, clean and very well appointed. So much is provided! And the area couldn't be better - overlooking the lake with lots of birds to observe - and close to amenities like tennis courts, kids play park, table tennis and games room. We also loved the wraparound decking, the well equipped kitchen, spacious bedrooms and comfy sofas. I can't recommend it highly enough for a multi-generational get together. We will be back!

Wow what can we say. We visited with 2 couples and 2 children and we had an amazing time, we only left the property when we visited the spa and pools. We knew the house would be amazing from the photos but we were absolutely blown away when we saw it! It is huge (especially the two main bedrooms) and we loved having the extra little lounge for the kids which was stocked with games and books. The outside space is incredible with wrap around decking and a huge bbq. Michelle responded very quickly whenever I sent a message and her instructions for how to find the house were easy to follow. Would definitely recommend the house and will be back next year!

We had a few days away with family and the 2 small Grandchildren. The Grandson loved seeing the birds and water skiing. The Heron was a regular visitor. Wendy was extremely quick helpful in resolving an issue. We loved the location and the house itself and we would book again. A tip would be if you are using the cot, then remember to pack a sheet. I had packed these but its something you might forget.

Stayed at the Goslings at the Lower Mill Estate for my parents 50th wedding anniversary - there were 10 of us, ages ranging from 7 to 73. The house was perfect - everything was very clean, there was plenty of crockery and cutlery, lots of fridge space and comfy beds. The house is overlooking a lovely lake with ducks wondering around. You can choose to chill or do lots of activities. The house is a few mins walk to a cafe, tennis courts, a small gym and pool complex. There is a very warm indoor pool and a heated outdoor pool that had lots of sunbeds. There is also a little lake to dip into at the back of the building. You need to book the pool the day before via a phone number. There is an activity centre, where you can book canoeing and paddleboarding, and there is another outdoor heated pool, a trampoline and more tennis courts. I would def recommend if you want to get away for a multi-generational break.

Had a fantastic stay met all expectations

Such a lovely place to stay with the family. There was plenty of activities to keep the kids entertained and the house was great to unwind in the evening. Our host was really helpful and responsive to any of our queries.

Spent a few days here too attend a family wedding. Really nice spacious accommodation for our family of 7 adults and 1 baby. Very pleasant surroundings. Outside seating and BBQ were welcome additions with all the sunshine. Responsive and proactive hosts.

Fantastic mini break to celebrate my fathers 70th. With 4 children the cottage needed to have plenty of space and it didn’t disappoint. Stunning setting. So much to see and do. Immaculate cottage. With a lovely welcome basket 😊. The swimming pool and lakes are beautiful. Mark was so welcoming and great communication and information provided. Thank you for having us.

Great place, lovely for a weekend away with family or friends

What an amazing lake house!! From the moment of booking until we left, Philip was very communicative and the instructions were clear and were given an online handbook with everything we needed for our trip. The house exceeded our expectations and was perfect for sharing with our family. It had everything we needed and more! The amenities were great, and we all spent a lot of time on the lake (which was beautiful and turquoise) we had our own paddleboards or kayaks (free to use from the house) or the lovely hot tub. Our children loved the swans (and their babies) who came by every day. We would not hesitate to book the house again, I’m sure we will be back. We would 100% recommend. Thank you for a fantastic few days!

Great place in a great location. So peaceful next to the lake you could just sit on the decking and relax. The space is light and airy in a gated community that feels safe and secure

We had a lovely break at Mill Village, the cottage was perfect and the estate is so peaceful and ideal for the children and dogs. Thank you for the lovely welcome basket, it was very much appreciated. We will definitely be back.
