Completely remodeled cottage with 2 bedrooms and 1 1/2 bath on HUGE corner lot with plenty of parking and room for boat and trailer. Located within one block from the beautiful Homosassa river as well as restaurants, bars and shopping. Manatee tours, fishing and scallop guides, boat rentals and more are within walking distance, as well as golf cart rentals at Florida Cracker Resort and Two Pops Sandwich Shop to ride anywhere in Old Homosassa. This is the perfect basecamp location for scalloping, swimming with the manatees or just chilling on the river. Guests have access to entire house as well as a lockable shed in carport. We are available anytime by phone, text or email. Access to house will be given via codes prior to check in. Located in the HEART of Old Homosassa in a residential neighborhood. 1 block away from free public boat ramp and gas. Walking distance to multiple food/ gas / bars/ shopping. coronavirus 19 edit: It's always been our policy to clean/sanitize before & after each guest. Also, our county is safer than most of Florida & the USA. We're in a quiet part of Ocala with only a few neighbors within 100s of feet. We're close to the 200 hub, 1.5 mi from a high school, & on a paved road. So, we're not in the middle of nowhere. The apt is private, no one else lives or can rent in the cottage. Our home is abt 100 feet away (far/close enough for added safety & host assistance).

Canoes are on property so you can explore the unobserved beauty of the river. Skiffs smaller than 17ft are best to dock in our canal that leads to the river.

Upon arrival read the local information guide I have written and start enjoying the “Nature Coast” of Florida. It is essential to read this to get the most from your trip. Use my kayaks and paddle over the manatees in Crystal River, fish the gulf for saltwater fish or for freshwater fishing at Lake Rousseau, and take a leisurely paddle down the Rainbow River in Dunnellon. Kayaks are on a trailer that has a 1 7/8-inch ball.
