Stunning setting 2 person flat rural Shropshire.

Great stay for some peace and quiet as it was tucked away between hills and woodland and surrounded by beautiful nature. The place was clean and clear instructions provided by the host! I definately had a restful time here and enjoyed the views from every window.

Beautiful retreat by the River Severn with parking

SiobhanRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Had the most wonderful few days staying in this gorgeous property, beautifully decorated and spotlessly clean we could quite happily have just chilled in the lovely garden but with the quaint market town of Shrewsbury a short walk along the canal path and the property ideally situated to visit the historic Iron Bridge and Ludlow (to name just a few) we ventured out to explore and weren’t disappointed. We will be back.

Elsie's Cottage

MariaRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Elsie's cottage is a hidden gem. The house is full of lovely details with a lot of character, and very cosy. Everything was spotless and I have to say the beds must have been some of the most comfortable ones we've slept in with lovely soft duvets and pillows. The location is ideal for exploring the surrounding beautiful landscape - we did a couple of really nice walks (up to the top of the hill, and the waterfall), and wished we could have stayed longer. Jane is an amazing host - we didn't meet but she made sure everything was fine via text message and suggested the walks too. She also left us coffee, eggs, milk, bread, cake, biscuits and other treats that were much appreciated. We are a family of 5 with a golden retriever - we all had the best time even if we weren't very lucky with the weather. We will definitely be coming back!

Quirky Cottage - Royal Oak Shropshire

JohnRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
The cottage is superbly appointed, beautifully furnished and impeccably clean. The little garden was a wonderful place to take in the superb views of the Wrekin and the hills towards Pulverbatch. The WiFi is extremely fast too! The generous amount of excellent parking made it ideal for our three cars. The village is peaceful and the pub opposite is full of atmosphere with the most welcoming team and locals. Every aspect of this visit was perfect and we're hugely grateful to Gemma for providing us with the very best venue, exceeding all our hopes and expectations. We loved it and hope we'll be able to stay again!

West wing of stunning Country Manor.

JoRating, 5 stars8 months ago
What a beautiful place to stay. What stood out? The hosts, the Manor and the location. Nell was extremely responsive and helpful with any questions we had. The Manor is just fabulous, so full of character and in such a lovely location, it’s so peaceful inside, we felt right at home immediately. We made a lot of use of the wood fired hot-tub outside too (and thanks for having it warmed up for us). We took electric bikes with us to tour about off and on road and Nell and her husband were most helpful in suggesting places to go to, it’s such a pretty part of the country to visit with some highly impressive scenery. Shrewsbury is very close by and well worth a visit. Overall a really memorable visit to a lovely home.
