Near the Pont d 'Avignon, and the Palais des Papes, Theater Festival, Isle/Sorgue, Fontaine du Vaucluse, Gordes (+ beautiful village in France), Mont Ventoux, Baux de Provence, etc... and 1 hour from the sea.
