“The location of this apartment is great - even without a car - close to the grocery store - and all the restaurants! Our favourite restaurant was Il Vescovino - amazing view and delicious food! We loved Bar Curva for our daily cappuccino - and this is where you can buy bus tickets! Lucia was so sweet in picking us up at the bus stop and giving us a quick tour of the village! The apartment is well stocked if you want to cook, but we ate out every day. Panzano is so beautiful and very relaxing - we had an awesome time !”
Authentic, quiet and cozy entire Stonehouse situated in a medieval small village, with wide garden, many relax areas, stone-barbecue and pizza oven, tennis table, bedrooms and garden view on the countryside. Few Km away from Greve in Chianti, about 30 minutes from Florence and Arezzo, 45 minutes from the horse-ride city of Siena. Typical tuscany restaurant and wineries within 5 minutes by car.
“Lorenzo's cottage was AMAZING! We had a disappointing Air B&B experience in Florence prior to our stay in Chianti and were very worried that we had made a mistake by booking Air B&B's for our honeymoon. When we showed up to Lorenzo's cottage, we were quickly reminded of why we love booking B&B's. Lorenzo and his mother were so sweet and welcoming. They allowed us to drop off our bags and check in early and provided us with local suggestions, a map, homemade treats, cookies, a bottle of wine, and even left us a sweet gift and note outside of our door one morning - special for our honeymoon. The garden was beautiful and peaceful and we watched the most beautiful sunrise the morning before we sadly had to depart. The space is everything as described in the listing and more. The only thing that I would advise others about booking (this is really more about booking in Italy, in general) is Chianti is a region - not a town/village. There are several small villages throughout Chianti and it is absolutely beautiful driving the country roads from town to town. With that being said, it is a bit remote so you need to consider planning for meals. Greve (10-15 min drive) is just outside of Dimezanno, where Lorenzo's cottage is, and delicious food can always be found there, but the restaurants a little closer by are not guaranteed to be open. Do not let that discourage you from staying here though! Just be sure to rent a car and know that you are in the countryside of this beautiful country which means restaurants/groceries aren't always within walking distance. We would stay here again 100% if we come back to the Chianti area.”

“This home is absolutely fantastic! Starting with the views you have driving up to the home, all the way to the charm of it. We rented a car so we could come and go as we pleased and found the home pretty easily from Beatrice's directions. The host, Beatrice was extremely communicative with me the entire time and so accommodating! The Villa is magical. It takes you to the Tuscany that you want to experience while in the region. The outside sitting area overlooking the wine hills is fantastic. The kitchen is so cute I wish I could wrap it up and take it home with me. We had a group of 9 and never felt like we were cramped at all. I brought my family here for my mom's 60th birthday and I couldn't have picked a better place. Everyone loved it! When my brother and sister in law decided to show up and surprise everyone, Beatrice was so fantastic and was able to accommodate them as well, last minute! The home is about 40 minutes away from Florence and worth every minute of that beautiful drive! Beatrice has recommendations for pretty much everything in the area. We had a private Chef (Jessica/Elisa) that created a beautiful meal for us on my mom's birthday and cleaned it up too! My entire family felt at home here and we were so sad to leave. This place is everything you want and more. Do not hesitate to book it! You won't be disappointed.”
