The Cottage

Beautiful rural two-storey gîte in ancient Normandy Long House in tranquil location close to Carentan, Utah Beach and D-Day Experience Museum. Located in the Les Marais Natural Park, surrounded by wildlife including horses, hares, and herons. Beautiful swimming pool open end May to end August. You will have access to a games room with a pool table and ping pong. We are unable to accommodate pets. Please also check out our other adjacent gîte - called 'Les Etables' or 'The Stables'.

The market town of La Haye du Puits is a 10 minute drive away with supermarkets, boulangeries, restaurants and bars. Local beaches, D Day landing beaches, blue flag resort Barnville Carteret, Bayeux with its famous tapestry beautiful cathedral within easy driving distance. The port of Cherbourg is only 45 minute drive away.

250 m² house which includes: • on the ground floor: 1 bedroom with TV and separate shower room and separate toilet; kitchen with its back kitchen that gives access to the pool; living room with TV • 1st floor: 1 master bedroom with TV, bathroom and personal toilet, and a second bedroom that can be connected or not with the third that also has its own independent shower room and separate toilet. You will love this unique and romantic getaway. The Château d'Hémevez offers a decor that belongs to no one else. It is in the central wing dating from the 17th century that we offer you 400 m2 of history, travel, reverie and poetry. Here, no museum castle, or furniture under a bell... we have lunch on pretty Louis XV furniture without compromising on modern comfort (swimming pool obliges). In short, it is an experience dedicated to the French art of living!

You can enjoy the calm of the place or let yourself be surprised by one of the many hiking trails. They will take you to the heart of the bocage, marshes and historical sites related to DDAY. We wanted to keep traces of the past of this place, while paying the utmost attention to your comfort. Our cottage is rated 4*.

Located in the Marais du Cotentin Regional Natural Park, this cottage is located in an outbuilding of an 18th century farmhouse. 20 minutes from Sainte-Mère-Église, Utah Beach, 20 minutes from the Côte des Îles, 45 minutes from Cherbourg and Saint-Lô, its location allows you to discover the region as a whole. The greenway is 500 m away. 1 large living room with equipped kitchen, 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms. Optional horse box.

Le Lit'R

Located in the countryside in a small quiet hamlet. This accommodation is independent and adjoining our accommodation . , .There is an enclosed garden with lawn and flowers. A wooden terrace with table,chairs, shade sail and sunbeds. We only accept 1 dog and small size and no category dog ( staff,rott etc...) We do not want any parties in the accommodation—no birthdays, no New Year's Eve celebrations.
