Ch. La Corne is an old stone farmhouse from the 1700's set in its own vineyard on a hill top, surrounded by the rolling French countryside. The guest suite is attached to the Chateau (main house & winery) with its own entrance. We are 2 min to the boulangerie & 10 to Langon with shopping & the TGV station. Its the perfect combination of being in the country with city amenities close by. Wake up to an oasis of tranquility with beautiful views, surrounded by gourmet and cultural opportunities.
“This is such a lovely location! The apartment is very comfortable, spacious and nicely decorated. The hosts thought of everything when adding the amenities. The furnishings have lots of character and there is a newly renovated bathroom. Everything was immaculate inside, with nice touches such as fresh milk in the fridge and fresh cut flowers on the table. Loved how the windows opened and we could sleep in the fresh air. The hosts were available for questions and to help with anything we needed. They’re very conscious of reading how much or how little guests want to interact with them and they couldn’t have been nicer. The vineyard is amazing, with gorgeous vines, rolling hills, fruit trees and a vegetable garden. It’s located back a gravel path so it’s a wonderful place to walk and see beautiful views of the countryside. There’s a sweet silence that truly helps the stress just melt away. While located in a peaceful setting, it’s convenient to many nice towns, markets and restaurants as well as gorgeous castles/chateaus. The Bordeaux train station is about a 45 minute drive away. And let’s not forget the wines! The hosts are incredibly knowledgeable and have made very special (and delicious) whites and reds. We had 2 cases shipped home after we left so that we can savor the memories of our stay. Overall, we highly recommend this accommodation.”
