The apartment is situated in the Chianti shire, in Montegrossi village, 6 kms from Gaiole in Chianti. This is a small but beautiful 55 square metre house. It has a small dining room with a sofa bed, a fireplace and a book shelf. There is a very nice kitchen wich is Painted in typical country style. There is a large double bedroom with a spectacular view of the Chianti Hills! There is also a small bathroom
“We enjoyed our stay, the place is cosy and nice and we recommend this place to anyone. However, it would have been good to know in advance that heating and city tax were extras and had to be paid on top of the airbnb fee. The good part though is we tested our fire-making skills as she provided us with wood for the fire for free, so we enjoyed watching the fireplace. Thank you for a lovely stay!”
Apartment at Borgo Sicelle, in Castellina in Chianti area, between Florence, Siena, S.Gimignano. A kitchen, satellite tv, double bedroom, bathroom with shower. Air condition. It's on the first floor. Outside, on the ground floor there are shared tables, chairs. In front of the property there is a restaurant (Osteria Uscio e Bottega-closed on Wednesday) where they prepare take away dishes too.
“Will definitely go back. The site with the view is absolutely amazing. You are 30 minutes away from Siena or Gan Gimignano (Ideally need a car if you stay here) . Calm and peaceful place when you need a pause from the city. Thanks to the Franco and Sylviana for their hospitality”
Lovely room with own bathroom in family house; independent access, private terrace, opening out onto garden where deer roam and birds sing. A secluded and peaceful location, immersed in countryside, opposite a 10th century fortified village. We invite ALL PEOPLE to our home in the spirit of INCLUSIVITY and NON-DISCRIMINATION. Everyone is WELCOME.
“What a fabulous spot! Julia and Giovanni have done an exceptional job renovating the property, and I found the room very inviting and comfortable. The outdoor kitchen is fun, too! Having your private patio on the side of the house creates just the right amount of privacy without feeling isolated, which is great for a solo traveler. High quality screens for keeping the bugs out, and a genuinely hot shower (not something I take for granted after staying in a few other Airbnbs in Italy that had lukewarm water at best). Great access to Montefioralle on foot, and the whole area is wonderful for evening strolls. I suspect most people staying here will have a car, but I didn’t, and Julia kindly offered a ride to the weekend market in Greve. Highly recommended to anyone looking for a scenic spot to relax in Chianti!”
