The house is a traditional Normandy longhouse, made of granite, wood and tile. There are 185 square meters of indoor space. The farmhouse has been sensitively restored using traditional materials. La Pichardiere sits in the heart of the Normandy countryside far away from busy traffic in a secluded two acre garden set in a corner of a regional park (equivalent to a National Park in UK) -- It is a place to escape from city life! I love its peacefulness and the presence of the natural world.

Located on the edge of the Normandie-Maine Regional Nature Park, the house is on a hiking trail a 5-minute walk from the forest. (This path leads to the Chapelle du Chêne, which houses a tree from the Middle Ages renowned for its miracles - 1 hour 45 minutes' walk). And 6 km away are Lake Coco-Plage (swimming, activities) and the spectacular Saut du Cerf canyon in the vast Sillé forest.

La maison d’Apolline is a charming little house located in Lassay-les-Châteaux, 2 km from the Château de Lassay and 15 km from Bagnoles-de-l’Orne in Normandy (a 15-minute drive). The house is composed of a ground floor (entrance, mezzanine, living room, dining area and kitchen) and a floor (bedroom and bathroom) fully equipped and offering free wifi.
