“Lovely place and lovely hosts they have some great animals too!! The space is perfect for a little getaway with great facilities and lovely personal touches. We had a great time playing with the animals and sitting by the fire. Would 100% recommend for anyone wanting a relaxing getaway.”
A perfect little hideaway from the stresses of the world. Nestled in a tiny hamlet, no traffic, beautiful scenery, wonderful walking and biking country. A place to relax, unwind and recharge your batteries.
“This lovely house is even more precious than the picture can show. We spent a week and ended up wanting to stay forever. It is located in a remote area with surprising delights that Lynn does a great job pointing you to. The grocery store nearest is fantastic. Go to sleep with the gentle sound of cowbells from a neighbor’s field and wake up to the sound of a million delightful birds. The full kitchen is well equipped and could easily handle a holiday meal prep. Most of all I really have to commend Lynn. From before your arrival she is on top of directions and instructions and satisfying your every whim. She was so nice to us and we had several lovely visits. We had a bit of trouble and had to cut our travels short to get back to the US because of Coronavirus and she made sure we knew every new development with regards to rules of quarantine in France and travel and she even enlisted a neighbor to drop by and help us with paperwork. Highest marks for housing and host!!”
Set in a hillside in the grounds of an eighteenth century farm house, you will find Honeysuckle Cottage. The Cottage is set in a very unique situation, amongst the ruins of a long abandoned hamlet We have a wealth of wildlife on our doorstep, along with 21st century luxuries The accommodation is 'open plan' kitchen and bathroom are separate, main bedroom is accessed by a spiral staircase, the second sleeping area is adjacent to the living area, separated by three steps, and is a sofa bed
“The Honeysuckle cottage is trully a magical place! Amanda and Paul are the most lovely hosts ever, they would always make you feel like home. They are REALLY great cooks, do not hesitate to try their recipes! In their beautiful cottage, any piece of furniture, any decoration is choosen with taste. The kitchen and the bathroom are fully equipped. The living room, the bedroom or the garden… you would not know which place to choose to have a nap and to relax, since all the sofas, the cushions, the longchairs were all so comfortable. Every window of the cottage looks like a still-life painting, showing the variety of plants and flowers of the garden. And the garden is really worth a little walk, there are a lots of beautiful details and landscapes to be discovered, and the swimming pool is perfect for Summer. I highly recommend this little paradise on Earth!”
