Castle holiday rentals in Lazio

One of the most amazing places to stay ever! The last stop of a 9 month trip, Castello del Duca was the best way to cap off our journey. The grounds are wonderful to stroll around, the Barone room was beautiful and had everything you need, and the service from the staff was top notch. Super easy to get into Rome via public transportation. 10/10 would recommend.

Wonderful stay. Giuliano's place is bang on in the center of the town of Pitigliano, a lovely medieval citadel with stunning views and incredible history. Bars, cafés, shops and restaurants are all conveniently located near the property. The apartment is just as in the pictures: cosy and charming. It is also very peaceful as it's inside a castle's courtyard. En suite bathroom in the master bedroom, comfortable bed, antique furniture and clean towels and linens. Kitchen equipped with all necessary amenities. Excellent place to stay either for a weekend or for longer. We stayed for a week and it felt like being home. Giuliano is a wonderful host. He provided us with very useful information about the surrounding areas and places of interest. Communication was seamless and everything went well. I would totally recommend staying at Giuliano's place, and would definitely go back.

This place was everything described, photographed and more. I was looking for a peaceful place to spend the weekend before my hectic work week started in Rome. The most serene air bnb I have stayed in with stunning views of the valley overlooking green rolling hills and sheep in the fields. Leah was available at every moment to help. She also helped arrange transportation from her friend Simone who was amazing and already feels like a close friend. 10/10 would stay again. Thank you Leah & Gigi ❤️❤️

Enchanting stay in an exceptional historic and cultural setting. The apartment is tastefully furnished. No need for airco because the thickness of the walls guarantees freshness (and yet it was the August heatwave). Large pool surrounded by beautiful greenery. Restaurant with excellent service and a great menu. Delicious breakfast (included) (homemade jams and desserts) and hearty. The icing on the cake: Cecilia welcomed us in her beautiful castle and showed us around it. Great value for money.

An incredible stay at a truly unique location. The castle itself was very beautiful, although finding where to meet someone to check in was confusing. We loved walking around the town and ate at several delicious restaurants in town. We felt like locals and loved seeing a less touristy side of Italy.

Lovely place overlooking the Umbrian hills. The apartment was located inside the castle. The apartment was spacious, well-furned and clean. The hospitality and recommendations for restaurants in the area were invaluable. Highly recommended.
