Very clean, comfortable and private. Complete use of the full kitchen and laundry. Beautiful front porch to enjoy the sunsets or just relaxing. Convienently located about 30 minutes from Fayetteville and 40 minutes from Beckley and Lewisburg. Fresh produce stand is open on the property, mostly on weekends thru September.
“We had a great stay overall. We loved the space, the location, the value and of course, the cows outside make it the best. We would stay again and recommend it to others for sure! It was a great location for Bridge Day and access to the New River Gorge.”
“The Jesse's are a wonderful family to be around with. They offer an amazing hospitality, and they are knowledgeable about the area if you ever want to do something. Additionally, if you ever needed anything, they are very responsive. I look forward to staying with them again.”
Situated only 3 miles from downtown Fayetteville and within 15 min of trails, rivers, and climbing, this idyllic space makes you feel like you are in your own little ecotopia. The yurt sits on two secluded acres surrounded by gardens and forest. It is built eco-friendly complete with a composting toilet which is incredibly easy to use. Large windows are situated to allow natural sunlight and cross breezes and the dome in the center of the roof lets you sleep under the stars at night.
“I’ve been eying up this yurt for a couple years and now seemed like the perfect time to go. The yurt was easy to find and in a very convenient location- close to hikes, restaurants, stores, and tourist attractions. We were expecting a tiny space but the yurt was pretty spacious and very comfortable. All the basic amenities were there, and we were glad to get away without the distraction of a television! The kitchen had just enough pots and pans and dishes. The fridge was full sized. We were impressed with the washer and dryer we- we were able to wash all our clothes and go home with no dirty laundry! Erin was available and accommodating and didn’t make us feel like our questions were bothering her at all. One thing we were a little nervous about was the composting toilet- a covered bucket with a fancy toilet seat- but it was totally fine and didn’t smell(!). In case you’re worried about it, there is a second, outdoor toilet in back. We had an amazing time in the yurt and we will definitely stay there again. The area of WV was gorgeous and the whole trip was incredible.”
