“What a great place to enjoy a few days in a picturesque part of Suffolk. The house of Wilde is a stylish, pristinely clean and cosy wooden garage/barn conversion. It’s great for couples or groups of friends and you’ll enjoy the chilled vibe. The two double beds in each of the bedrooms are very comfortable and the bedding is to a quality hotel standard. The house of Wilde accesses onto a gorgeous garden belonging to the main house which is where Kerry lives. The garden is so large with multiple seating areas and Kerry is very happy to have her guests enjoy the garden whilst staying in the conversion. From the garden you can access national trust woodland and fields, which make for great walks and there are two lovely pubs within a short walking distance. We loved our weekend away and Kerry is a great host.”
Welcome to The Pavilion, a detached property positioned within the grounds of the Old Rectory, Stanningfield. Staying here offers you the chance to unwind in luxury whilst enjoying birdsong from our resident birds including European green woodpecker, tawny owl and fieldfare.
“We had a wonderful stay at the Pavilion. Quiet location but easy access to Bury St Edmunds. The place was stylish, clean and comfortable with huge outside space. Katy was very kind and helpful. A perfect break that we needed after long lockdown. Definitely coming back. Thank you, Katy.”
A large bedroom with en-suite shower room and lounge/TV area. The room has been recently decorated to a high standard with a comfortable king size bed and ample storage for clothes.
“Really spacious and stylish room with a lovely comfortable bed and modern en-suite. Breakfast in the light and airy conservatory was a bonus as was the pretty garden. My hosts were very friendly and accommodating and a pleasure to chat to. Highly recommended as a base for visiting Suffolk, I spent three nights and really enjoyed my visit.”
