First of - Kathy’s Kottage offers a uniquely private, warm and inviting detached cottage. We are not a huge commercial venture, but owned, operated, maintained, and cleaned by hosts who live within 150 yards. The Kottage is our only offering. We charge a cleaning fee of $35 a stay, so there isn't a list of chores at check out. We take up to 4 hours between every stay to extensively clean and disinfect every surface. We are proud of the Kottage as shown in every review over the last four years.

Amenities are two headed shower in master bathroom, dedicated workspace, grill, smoker, fire pit, outdoor seating, and walking trail. Located 15 minutes from downtown and 20 minutes from Royals/Chiefs stadiums. **This is a duplex with a unit in the basement. Separate entrances and access. Guests below do not have access to your unit.

This home has 1 bedroom on the main level with a king bed and four bedrooms on the second level. The home has two stair cases and wonderful outdoor space. Come stay at the historic McFarland House and sit on the front porch with a view of Downtown Lawrence Kansas.

Our Country House is ideal for family fun, Kansas Speedway fans, KU & KC visitors, or just a simple private getaway!
