Beautiful thatched cottage, with 3 double bedrooms, 2 ensuite bathrooms. The beamed sitting room leads onto a split level patio for dining under a gazebo. The kitchen is very well equipped. In the large secluded garden is a walled swimming pool with changing facilities, plus cedar hot tub with decking. Large, private parking area. The hot tub is available year round by prior arrangement, the swimming pool being available from May until September. All adjacent to a country footpath and farmland.
“Keith and Jean are brilliant hosts. They have thought of everything to make the stay comfortable. From all the coffee and tea flavours (including decaffeinated, which I haven't seen anywhere else) to all the extras little jams, honey, fruits and drinks. We were really lucky with the weather and spent most of the time by the pool and under the gazebo in the evening. Keith kindly gave us a fire pit and all the wood so we could enjoy some roasted marshmallows in the evenings. All the lighting is very subtle and sets just the right atmosphere so you can relax. We really felt like we were on holiday, the area is so peaceful, the only thing you can hear is some wildlife. There are great walking routes, pubs and shops only about 10 mins drive. The property itself was spotless, lots of character features, luxurious bedding, Denby crockery, dressing gowns and towels. There was also Sky for entertainment but we preferred the outside games such as badminton and as you guessed it that was provided too. In fact we just loved being outside, there is lots of seating areas, benches and great views. The gardens are perfectly manicured and you have alpacas for neighbours too. We could not fault this place, would happily reccomend this to all my friends and family. Thank you for everything xxx”
An airy double room with ensuite shower offering privacy at the front of the house ten minutes walk from the Bombay Sapphire Distillery Experience. There is a local pub but please check their web site https://www.watershipdowninn.com/#home for opening times, bookings and menus - it is very popular and early booking is recommended. Winchester and Highclere are a half hour drive away as well as other locations in the Test Valley. Very convenient for Carfest South.
“Myself and my partner stayed at Lesley's place for two nights. Lesley and her husband, Brian, were great hosts and very welcoming! Check in process was straightforward and Lesley presented us with a lovely continental breakfast both mornings during our stay!”

“Kate's place is very cozy and warm. It was away from the city noise and had alot of privacy. There is a wonderfully restaurant nearby in the village which serves amazing food. Kate herself is a very friendly host and nice to talk to. I definitely recommend this place.”
