“Patrizia came to pick me up at the train station some 15 minutes by car from her b&b (a small extra tip was reluctantly accepted by her after very very strong insistence by me) and took me back to the train station. She and her kind partner Emanuele were extremely helpful in all possible ways during my stay. the bedroom is as described, clean, basic and comfortable and the hosts live in the same house (on ground floor), plenty of shops and a good choice of nice restaurants at less than 7 minutes’ walk from the b&b (one at only two minutes’ walk). the Buddhist monastery Santacittarama is at 24 minutes’ walk (quiet pace). Would definitely return!”
Fantastic getaway to the mountains with magnificent lake view. Only 1 hour from Rome (airport) to a beautiful scenic mountain road. The barn has three terraces on which you can sun bake, read, relax with a nice glass of local wine. The cottage has two rooms, a kitchenette and a bathroom. 10 minutes’ walk to the restaurants 5 minutes’ walk to the piazza and supermarket at Mirella’s 1.15 minutes driving from Rome airports-Ciampino and Fiumicino 20 minutes driving to the closest city Rieti
“A place we will definitely return to! The location of the apartment is unique. The large courtyard covered with vines is excellent for sheltering yourself from the sun. The view is breathtaking and the lake beautiful. In the summer months, the apartment is cool, a little dark, but perhaps even better. Outside in the courtyard there is a table with chairs, excellent for lunch or dinner and candlelight overlooking Castel di Tora. Maybe it would be useful to replace it, since it dances a bit, but it's details. Inside the house there is everything you need: cutlery, plates, glasses, pots, salt, tea, coffee and so on. I absolutely recommend!”
