Family-friendly holiday rentals in Laurium

The Airbnb itself has lots of character with an incredibly helpful host! Walkable distance from the tourist attractions like the Acropolis and Plaka old town, but all around the Airbnb was local quirky restaurants and bars.

If I could give Andreas more than 5 stars, I absolutely would. From the moment we booked, his communication was outstanding. He proactively reached out and helped us navigate a taxi strike on our arrival day, ensuring a smooth start to our trip. He personally welcomed us and shared thoughtful recommendations — every restaurant, whether off the beaten path or near the main sites, was exactly what we were looking for. Andreas went above and beyond by helping us make all our dinner reservations and making sure we felt completely taken care of by periodically checking in throughout our stay His apartment is immaculately clean, with a peaceful outdoor space where we enjoyed morning espresso and birdsongs — the perfect start to our days. The location was ideal: close to everything we wanted to see, but tucked away enough that it felt calm and relaxed. This was one of our best Airbnb stays ever, thanks to Andrea’s hospitality, attention to detail, and warmth. Don’t hesitate — book now.

We loved this wonderful home! Perfect location—walkable to restaurants, shopping, and the Acropolis. The host was friendly and flexible host with great communication. The views from the rooftop are amazing! There are a lot of stairs in the house that would be difficult if you have mobility issues or toddlers, but it’s a great place to stay as long as stairs aren’t a problem for you.

Theo was very helpful very good communicator and I would recommend a place to anyone that’s happy to stay with a group of friends in the heart of Athens

Anna and Teo were very responsive and helpful, especially with a tour guide and pickup at the port and drop off at the airport. Very nice to provide little snack and drink gifts too. Perfect location - close to everything.

Can't beat the location right off Ermou street where lots of shopping is, easy walking to many of the city's attractions, several cafe and restaurants just outside and around the corner. Will definitely keep it in mind the next time we are back.

Absolutely stunning. The view from the apartment is second to none, and looks even better in real life compared to the photos. Within walking distance of many great attractions and restaurants. Quick to reply. All in all superb experience.

Leah's apartment was perfect. Just a 3 to 4 minute walk to the metro and 5 to 6 stops to downtown Athens. It was exactly as described and pictures were accurate. She was quick to respond to all of my messages. I didn't have any Euros on me yet and she drove me to a bank to use the ATM. She then drove me around the neighborhood and showed me her favorite places to eat and get coffee. We ate at a few or ordered in. There is also a cute bakery near the metro. The house does smell like cigarettes but that didn't bother us. If you have asthma this might affect your stay. This is Leah's personal home, which I liked due to her making extra money and not supporting a company who buys up properties and forces locals out of home ownership. If we ever make it back to Athens we would 100% stay here again. Thanks again Leah for a great stay!

Highly, highly recommended!! I have stayed at a few Airbnb properties, and I have to say that Maria and her husband are among the best hosts I have ever had. We had a minor accident early in the holiday and Maria went out of her way to come and help in the middle of the night. She answered every question we had when trying to deal with the Greek transport system, which is an absolute nightmare to unravel. The flat itself is close to the centre of the city and well located by transport, and the price was very reasonable. The view from the balcony is simply magnificent. We were sorry to leave. This Airbnb apartment was a real gem! The location was fantastic, but what truly stood out was the exceptionally convenient parking facility—so close and easy. Every detail in the spacious apartment was clearly carefully thought out, from the great balcony and view to the fact that the host was always reachable and incredibly kind and helpful.

Highly recommend Peter’s spot! Super affordable, central location. It’s a bit busy but nice to be near all of the neighborhoods you might want to hang in. Peter went above and beyond to make our stay easy. He was always responsive and super kind. One bummer was that we woke up to loud construction right above us on our first morning. We talked to Peter about it, though, and it wasn’t a problem after that. Overall, great stay :)

Apartment was very spacious with 3 full bathrooms. We were very comfortable, he left us with some kitchen basics and snacks. It was also very close to the major neighborhoods with so many restaurants and bars. 20 minute walk to Acropolis. Beware the steps to the apartment.

Very nice home. Thelma was always responsive and we had a wonderful time in Athens and her place was convenient for shops and food and we had taxis for our others locations. Close to the markets as well!

Nikos and Georgia were so nice and they stayed up late waiting for us to get in. Which I was most grateful for as the location wasnt as easy to find. I lived that they were proactive and shared that others have had trouble in the past and gave me the step by step instructions on how to locate their beautiful home. Although it felt pretty remote, navigating to the city center was pretty easy. I loved the welcome basket and the complete tour of the home. I truly appreciated how quiet the neighborhood was, especially having been in the city center the whole day. It was literally a breath of fresh air. I would LOVE to stay there again if they would have us.

Vanessa and Voula’s unit was perfect for our quick stay in Athens. The hosts were very responsive to any questions. The unit was very clean and in a great location for anything you need, very walkable to many shops and restaurants. The views from the terrace are amazing! We will definitely recommend to friends/family and we will stay here again if we return! Thank you!

An incredible oasis in the heart of a hip neighborhood in Athens. Great food, accessible to other parts of the city, very walkable, and the apartment is GORGEOUS. One of the most comfortable beds I've ever slept on, and the pool is *chef's kiss*

The place was beautiful, very clean and cozily furnished with a great kitchen where there was everything you need to cook and to make yourself a coffee in the morning. The roof terrace can only be reached via an elevator, but it is very private and you have an extremely great view over Athens. We felt comfortable and would keep coming back! As only note: the location is very nice and quiet in a very safe neighborhood of Athens, however you really walk a lot of stairs to get to the apartment.

An absolutely magnificent place! Hard to imagine that you can find a place like this in a large city! It was a short walk from restaurants, supermarket and the metro. Rooftop pool with great privacy was wonderful on hot days and also swimming at night with the city lights in the background. Rooftop terrace was overlooking the city and with views to Lycabettus hill and nature on the other side. On many evenings we ordered food in and ate at the rooftop terrace. We were a group of six and could not have been more pleased with our stay. Dimitris was very helpful and a great host!

Ada's villa is just amazing! We spent almost a week, and we loved it. Walking distance to a private and beautiful beach, great pool, balconies with ocean view, comfortable kitchen and much more. Ada was super responsive, assisted us with everything we needed. The place is close to many beaches, restaurants and activities and this was for sure one of the best listing's we've been at. I would recommend this place for everyone that seeks a peaceful gateway and a great vacation

We had a fabulous stay at Nasos’s villa! Everything we needed for a peaceful, adult family holiday was provided from start to finish. The setting was quiet, beautiful, and incredibly relaxing, a perfect escape if you’re looking to get away from it all. We hardly even felt the need to visit the beach because the pool and outdoor space were so inviting. The hammock was especially popular. We also appreciated the thoughtful little treats left for us by the housekeepers upon arrival, such a warm welcome! Nasos was a fantastic host. He personally dropped off grocery essentials at the start of our stay and was attentive and helpful throughout, even assisting us with arranging transfers from Athens since we chose not to rent a car. Thank you so much, Nasos—it was truly lovely to meet you. We’d be more than happy to stay again in the future. Ευχαριστούμε πολύ, Nasos!

Absolutely beautiful home. Breathtaking. The pictures, although lovely, do not do this place justice, it is amazing. Don't think twice, just book it! So much space for my 2 boys to move around, and the pook and hot tub were great, along with the views! Cant say enough about this home, I look forward to returning. Host was super accomodating and gave great recommendations. 10/10
