It also has a large deck, overlooking the lake, in which you can find the most beautiful sunrises. We will meet with you upon your arrival to deliver a key for you to come and go as you please.
“We had a wonderful stay! The location was great, very quiet/peaceful. We had our two young kids and they really enjoyed fishing & swimming at the lake with bonfire/smores at night. We have Verizon cell phones, and there was no service in the house. Phones worked at the beach. The internet also didn't work at the house. I knew these things could be issues prior to booking, so we did not have a problem with it at all but just something to be aware of. Host had candy and family friendly movies/games out knowing we were bringing children, nice touch. Very responsive, helpful, friendly host that really made things go smoothly. Town is very close for picking up groceries or anything else you may need during your stay. The beach is VERY quiet. Usually just us or one other family. Not a full sand beach, very grassy. It was perfect for kids, not very deep for quite a ways out. I would definitely recommend staying here!”
Magical tree house nestled among oaks on our beautiful 200-acre national park-esque ranch fringed in gorgeous limestone boulders surrounding a spring-fed 15-acre private lake with outdoor living area and sand beach. Great for swimming, kayaking, stand-up paddle boarding and excellent fishing. We are 5 minutes from downtown Excelsior Springs, Excelsior Springs Golf Course and 3EX municipal airport. We live on-site and will generally be available throughout your stay should you need or desire.
“This was such a fun experience! We didn't expect them to have fun stuff like kayaks and paddle boards and canoes, but they did. All included in the cost of staying, we didn't have to pay extra to use those things. There's not a bathroom in the treehouse obviously, but the "outhouse" restroom was a lot nicer than you'd imagine! Very lovely experience and I will definitely be staying again. We brought our 8 year old daughter and nephew with us and they thought it was the coolest ever. P.S. This might not matter to some, but.. Sometimes when staying out in the country, being white with family who is black/mixed, there can be apprehensions or concerns of how we might be treated or if we will be judged. Not to mention we are both covered in tattoos, but from the second we met them they were nothing but kind, welcoming, and hospitable. They even offered extra things that weren't listed on their air bnb.”
Nice neighborhood with a pretty park at the end of the street. Plenty of shopping & restaurants within 5 minutes. Park right up by the front door and you can see your car from your window. When you come in the front door your studio apartment is on the left. (I live upstairs in a completely different space). Your room is 25' x 12' plus bathroom. It was created to be an Airbnb. Shady front yard with a bench and swing out front to enjoy your morning coffee. Grab the cushion from inside! Welcome!
“Everything was sparkling clean and the space was cozy, comfortable, and cute! It is clear that Lloyd really cares about his guests and goes out of his way to make their stay enjoyable!! There were many small touches that made it feel like home. He makes a lot of things available in case you forgot or need anything. He was nice enough to let us use his washer and dryer. Would absolutely recommend staying here!”
