Cozy exterior apartment in the center of the town of Deba, located on the first floor. Completely renovated, the decoration maintains a rustic style with exposed stone and wood. It consists of a diaphanous room with dining kitchen and living area (with sofa bed), a large double bedroom (with a bed of 1.60, closet and dresser), and a bathroom. Pets are not allowed. Deba has a wide range of bars, terraces and restaurants as well as small shops of all kinds.
“Beyond perfect, everything: accuracy of listing, photographs, hospitality, check-in, details, local tips, location, quality of bed and appliances, comfort... Christine and Martin were most welcoming and the apartment is superb, not only sparkling clean, but also in a great location -right in the city center and yet quiet, within walking distance of the beach and the town square (for bars, restaurants and shopping). We were there for a week but would've stayed for a second week in a heartbeat. Martin runs a shop/workshop (he is an artisan) on the ground floor and they live on the second floor, so they are right there for everything you may need. Fantastic! Please note that parking can be tricky (but, again, Christine and Martin took care of that for us upon arrival) and when in town you can forget about the car and use the extensive availability of public transport to visit the area. Also note that the apartment is on the first floor and you have to negotiate a half-spiral staircase that can be a problem for those with limited mobility.”
500 meters from road GI-638 Deba-Mutriku and less than 1 hr drive from Bilbao, San Sebastian and Vitoria. At the same time in the middle of country side and right in front of the sea side; 5 min away from Deba and Mutriku beach. Ideal for holidays
“This was probably one of my favorite Airbnb experiences. The location, the communication, the warmth, the space were all wonderful. They had tips for my journeys each day and made sure I had what I needed to accommodate the weather and feel comfortable during my time. Begoña even did all of my laundry from my previous journey upon arrival. I was folded into their home and would stay there over and over again if/when I find myself in Basque Country. Highly recommended!!”
"The charming little town of Getaria, with its three narrow curved streets, lines with great restaurants and stores and an impressive old church, leading down to the docks where the fishing boats come and go" There is a beautiful beach and a working boat/fishing Harbor. Although if you have your car, You can opted to catch the bus into Donostia/SanSebastián so you don't have to worry about parking. It was about a 30 min. trip and costs €2.40 each way. NºESS00082
“Wonderful apartment with all the amenities and a mind-blowing sea view that is utterly relaxing. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay with our two kids and would warmly recommend. The host was really thoughtful and available.”
