Cosy, warm one-bedroom flat with spectacular views over Edinburgh. Very near the University, Museum and Greyfriars Bobby (and overlooking Greyfriars Kirk) - walking distance to everything you want to see. Views to the Castle and down Royal Mile to Holyrood. Bustling area full of restaurants, cafes and bars and next to the Meadows for a bit of green space when you get tired of sightseeing. Located in one of the two original poorhouses in Edinburgh dating from 1740.
“The most wonderful wonderful apartments we have visited! And all thanks to what a wonderful view opens from the windows. From the window in the kitchen a view of all the dominants of the city. I would also like to note the owner’s special care for his guests: breakfast products (eggs, milk, butter, bread, marmalade, peanut butter, cereal and water), as well as literature and films about Scotland. This house has become ideal for us (despite the very small space in the bedroom, it is still hard to endure such sloping ceilings in the bedroom). Thank you very much for letting us stay a little longer than the usual check-out time.”
This beautiful apartment is located on the stunning Holyrood Park, and is a 5-minute walk from Holyrood Palace, The Scottish Parliament and the Royal Mile. It is situated on a very quiet residential street with free on-street parking, good local amenities close to supermarkets, and with an excellent transport service moments away. There is a shared garden, which backs onto the park and boasts breath-taking views of Arthurs Seat and the Salisbury Crags.
“This is a lovely little flat. It has everything you could need and is very comfortable. An excellent shower! The location is great, perfect for an early morning walk up Arthur’s Seat, and easy to walk to see the rest of the city. We found nice cafes and pubs close by too.”
Spring Cottage is a delightful detached bungalow nestled within a quiet residential street in Bonnyrigg, which lies approx. 8 miles south of Edinburgh city centre. Bonnyrigg is serviced with supermarkets/bars & restaurants and a regular bus service into the city, but is also equally accessible to the Borders and East Coast towns/villages. Spring Cottage offers you a home from home experience.
“The spring cottage is lovely and very comfortable. We found a really clean house, equipped with all the essentials. It's perfect for four people, but remember that the two beds are queen sized. Location-wise it takes around 5 minutes to the bus stop that will take you to the city centre in 30 minutes. There's also a supermarket near the bus stop. Irene responds quickly, she helped and guided us through our many questions and demands even if we never had the chance to meet each other.”
