My wife and I loved our stay at Columba’s place. It’s in a quiet neighborhood with several great restaurants and bars just down the hill. You’re a quick walk to a great beach, and a short bus ride to the center or old town. The room was clean, comfortable, and peaceful. Columba was a wonderful host and gave great recommendations to enjoy the town. We would definitely stay again!

Had a room and my own bathroom. Walked everywhere but there are buses if you choose to cut down on your walking as the apartment is at the opposite end of the promenade from the center and the old town. Hosts allowed me to do my laundry, offered me homemade gazpacho, made coffee for me each morning and on my last day called a taxi and accompanied me down and waited with me. Thank goodness, as the taxi driver was waiting at a different location and had to be called twice! As I was headed to the airport I was relieved to get that level of support.

Beautiful room with private bathroom in villa

Kristina and Iker were very helpful and friendly throughout my stay and provided lots of useful information on arrival about the area and local recommendations. My room was lovely, the bed very comfy and I especially enjoyed the view from the bedroom window. They provide some light breakfast offerings in a separate breakfast room which was really good and I found some great cafes and bars not far from the house. My only slight complaint is that due to having two guest rooms next to each other, I did experience quite a bit of noise from other guests slamming doors etc when coming and going. Iker kindly spoke to the guests to ask them to be mindful of others which I appreciated.

Great place to rest for anyone doing the Camino. Eneko is very friendly and had lots of reccomendations for local places to eat and visit but also for the whole Camino walk.

from the initial booking months ahead of time through the moment we checked out, Jon was very responsive and respectful in communications. Jon even offered to pick up extra water for us to have upon arrival, which was very refreshing after traveling; and, took the time to look for a specific adapter that we forgot to bring. the apartment was exactly as described in the listing, and it was a cozy & comfortable stay for our first time in San Sebastian. the only not ideal bits were lack of hot water in the shower on one night (this seemed like a one-off situation as it was not the case the other nights!) and it was quite warm inside the unit (unusual for this time of year). overall, we had a lovely stay at Jon & Manex's place and would recommend!
