A cosy cottage of ca. 45 m2 in the upper parts of the beautiful Garabato Valley
“Krysztof lives the AirBnB idea. I was received so warmly and with open arms and I immediately felt like I was at home with old friends. A wonderful place where you can recharge your batteries alone and in the middle of a valley full of palm trees, surrounded by nature, peace and sun. Simply wonderful and I can only recommend this place wholeheartedly. A little tip: bring food with you on arrival, because the (wonderful) way to the village and back uphill takes a while. And if you need a taxi, ask for Pedro!”

“The house is very well equipped and spacious. Due to the construction very noisy. Around the house are typical terraces on which agriculture is carried out. It may well happen that work starts at 8:00 a.m. on Saturday. It is right below the finca where the owner lives with her family. Elsa is a nice host. The place itself doesn't have that much to offer. There is a supermarket, a bar and 1 fish restaurant. The beach is not really a bathing beach. The access road is currently being embellished and repaired. The place could use a bit more cleanliness. We only used the house for sleeping and were always somewhere else on the island during the day, so we didn't miss anything and felt comfortable in the house.”
Sunset Apartment. Beach, Alojera Cozy apartment on the beachfront Accommodation capacity of 4 people. 1 room with 3 beds, sofa bed, bathroom and fully equipped kitchen. It also has a terrace facing the sea, perfect for breakfast with the sea breeze or enjoy a great dinner while the sun sets, all with the Isla del Hierro in the background presiding over the picture.
“Elsa’s place is even better than we imagined. It’s directly at the beach - a beautiful black sand and pebble beach that is perfect to walk up and down, discover all kinds of sea creatures and just listen to the waves. During our stay (in March) those waves were quite rough though, so we went to other beaches with less rocks and more gently waves to go swimming (which is no problem since you need a car on La Gomera anyway. You should bring your own beach towels though). But also staying home is great at Elsa’s place - the terrace on the roof is sunny all day and the place to be even during the Spanish curfew due to the corona virus. Especially if you like watching sunsets ... The small restaurant next door is a nice and friendly place too that absolutely doesn’t disturb the relaxing time at Elsa’s in any way. We didn’t get to try the food, but we will see to that next time. Last but not least, Elsa is an enormously friendly host. She made sure we had everything we needed, was available for us anytime and has all the Tipps one needs.”
