Great place stay between Two Harbors and Duluth. Nice atmosphere and quiet neighbors. Would stay here again.

I really enjoyed my 4 nights at Knife River. Paula was very responsive and the home was well equipped and had everything we needed. I enjoyed the near by river trail, smoked fish shop, and candy store. Two harbors is only a 15 minute drive as well. My dog is fearful of other dogs, and this was a great place for her to take a break from city living and enjoy nature without too many other dogs around. I would love to visit again in the winter since it seems there may be some local events going on during that time!

Great getaway; private fenced area; loved the outdoor shower and the large screened in porch with couch; super cute lighting around the property; detailed touches with plants, coffee, cream, sugar, seasonings, etc. Host very responsive and friendly. Very clean. The low hum of traffic on Hwy 61 was not bothersome to us while outdoors and could not be heard while indoors; easy walk to Lake Superior; nicely situated between Two Harbors and Duluth. Bunk beds were fine for us, yet someone who has difficulty climbing would not want to use the ladder to the top bunk. We’d stay here again!
