“This was our first stop in Colorado on a long road trip. We hit a couple snags along the way and had to add a whole extra day onto our reservation. Regina responded to our request extremely fast and was very accommodating to our unexpected change of plans. After sleeping in the car, anything with walls would have been an upgrade, but the cabin was a little slice of heaven! The Cozy Cabin was just that - cozy! Our favorite features were: the kitchen - the coffee pot was a dream and the functionality of the space was spot on; the outdoor dining and lounging space; we loved eating breakfast (some deer even joined us one morning! :) ) and dinner outside; and the location in general - Woodland Park is lovely and a great place to stay if you want to experience Colorado Springs and enjoy surrounding attractions while still maintaining some distance from the hustle and bustle. Additionally, it seemed that the temperature would drop 5-10 degrees whenever we drove up the hill to the cabin, and after long days of sight seeing, this was always a welcomed change. We loved our stay at the Cozy Cabin, hope to return, and encourage all fellow travelers to stay here! You won’t regret it.”
Our home on five forested acres in Black Forest, CO is a quiet respite from the commotion and noise of the city, yet we are close to the Air Force Academy and the shopping and conveniences of northern Colorado Springs or Monument, CO. We welcome everyone and their pets. And if you have a horse to board for a few days, we can do that too. We are retired, and live in a mother-in-law apartment attached to the house when we have Airbnb guests, so we are available for questions and help.
“Mary's home is lovely and the setting is gorgeous, quiet and peaceful. Everything was clean and sanitized. Mary was quick to respond to any questions we had and even loaned us a couple of umbrellas when there was a threat of rain. We used the kitchen for fixing breakfast and had everything we needed. We would definitely stay here again should we return to Colorado Springs.”
Great space with private entrance. Close to highway, shopping, hiking, and pretty much anything else you need or want! Enjoy the charm of the town or jump on the highway to Denver or Colorado Springs - we are right in the middle!
“Me and my wife were visiting western Kansas during the weekend of the 4th, and Had a spur of the moment idea to go see the mountains (I had never seen them, and they were a bucket list item for me) we booked with Nicole because it Offered great amenities and living space, plus she had tons of great reviews. By far an extremely great value! We were only in The area for one day and spent most of it sight seeing, so we arrived to Nicole’s later on in the evening. We had to leave the follow morning early to make the 11.5 hour drive home, so we unfortunately didn’t get to take advantage of the living space besides the shower and bed. (Both are extremely nice.) it’s a shame we didn’t have more time, but I know we will be back to the mountains, and as long as Nicole’s BnB is available, we will use hers again. Super comfy conditions for a lengthy stay! Also very nice neighborhood! Thank you Nicole!”
