Log cabin built in 2005 in Birkenåsen 700 m above sea level, approx. 12 min. from Rena. Located in a cul-de-sac next to a slalom slope and a short distance to prepared ski slopes. Excellent starting point for walking and cycling trips. Sorknes golf with 18-hole golf course 10 minutes away. Room layout: 1st floor: Living room, kitchen, hall, bathroom with shower and sauna, bathroom with washing machine, bedroom with 3 beds, bedroom with large double bed. Exterior storage room with freezer 2nd floor: Attic room with TV, bedroom with double bed, 2 bedrooms.

Apartment in a farmhouse – opportunity for a farm holiday

Cozy apartment in a farmhouse. In the yard, chickens roam freely, and organic vegetables and berries are grown in the greenhouse and in the field right nearby. Here, you can buy delicious fresh produce! Nice hiking opportunities on foot down to the river or in the woods. This is the place for hiking and biking. Great swimming opportunities in Skogstjern, a pleasant bike ride away. Fishing opportunities in Glomma and Renaelva and small game hunting in the woods. The Birkebeiner trail and bike path, as well as the Pilgrim's Way, are not far away.

To Sjusjøen cross-country skiing 8 km drive, to Hafjell/Hunderfossen Adventure Park 30 min, and Sjusjøen alpine for families only 10 min. Lillehammer city center 15 mins. Evening and Sunday open grocery store Mesnali 3 min. Bed linen and towels can be rented and must be pre-booked - price NOK 250/£20/€25 per set. Feel free to bring your own. We offer sleigh rides and ski instruction on cross-country skiing in the winter, please contact us if you are interested.

Cozy guesthouse

Cozy guest house with 2 bedrooms with double beds. You have to go through the first bedroom to get to the second. Therefore, it is best suited for families or close friends, and it is also possible to set up an extra children's bed in the “library.” There is approx. a 10 minute walk down to the city center with the railway station and the University and 3 km up to Birkebeinerstarten, as well as approx. 3 km to Rena camp. There is also a gazebo/greenhouse on the property that can be used to have your morning coffee or relax with a good book

Bring your family and friends to this great place along Glomma in Østerdalen. The property has a beach line and very good opportunities for both swimming, fishing, paddling with a canoe or kayak. In addition, an annex, gapahuk and sauna are available. Hot tub open from Jun-Oct. The cabin has three spacious bedrooms with 8 beds and the annex has in addition 3 beds. The cabin has a good standard with a new well-equipped kitchen and cozy bathroom. Laundry room and extra toilet in the basement. Great outdoor areas with fire pits.

The summer barn at Hovelsrud, Helgøya

The old summer barn of Hovelsrud Gård is idyllically located between Mjøsa and a rolling grain field – a simple and unique place for those who want to get close to nature and enjoy the tranquillity of Helgøya. The house is best suited for a couple or a small family with up to two children. Inside, there is a bedroom and an open-plan living room. Outside there is a kitchen bench, with a gas burner and barbecue, a small beach with swimming opportunities and an outdoor toilet. There is no electricity.

As you can see the pichtures show you two cabins, built together. The new cabin have two bedrooms, bath and a smal kitchen. Separate toilet. The old cabin has tow rooms one a bedroom , the other a living rom. The furniture is old in this rom , and has some old paintings as well. There are a stove to make it warm, nice and cosy. Firewood for free. There are plenty of space to sit outside, in wintertime this is on the starting place for Birken skirace. 3km from Rena.
