Our Airbnb host at Devbhoomi , Dharamshala was fantastic! The accommodation was impeccably clean, and the room was surprisingly spacious. The peaceful location made for a truly relaxing stay. We were so impressed by the impeccable service and the host's polite and responsive nature. Highly recommended!

It was my first ever Air B&B experience and couldn't have asked for more. The stay was sooo homely that I miss it by the river especially. Loved chatting w Anand's Maa and their Cats! I mean... my only regret it why I didn't stay for longer than planned. It was a pleasant and memorable experience. Something we don't get in the city. The riversong is a beautiful melody and the riverside is a beautiful sight... it was the perfect getaway for me that I might make it a regular visiting place and next time I'm definitely exploring the cafes and the fort climb as well!

With the most beautiful sunset in the area to beautiful forest trails around to a very helpful staff, Ashish's place is a perfect for anyone who wishes to stay away from noise and crowd.

We stayed here for 7 days & very highly recommend the place. The place is so clean, the utensils were proper for kitchen, bed was comfortable and there was ample sunlight in the room. Wifi was amazing and you can order food from their cafe up. The owner Meenal was so proactive and reached out to us everyday to ask if everything is fine & any way she can make our stay more comfortable. The manager Shivangi made sure we were having a comfortable stay. My partner had bad stomach one day and they made special khichdi and meals for us & took care of us like their family. We were greeted with pastries of Birdhouse cakery & the hospitality was so so good! Just one message away. For past 6 months, I've been travelling and stayed at tons of airbnb but nothing matches the hospitality here! Thank you Meenal, Shivangi and team for sharing your home with us.

Ria is great host, they are a lovely family. We had to extend our stay last minute and Ria was kind enough to allow her space. If you prefer to be midst the nature away from the chaos this place is definitely worth. Her sourdough breads, jams , muesli and much more is definitely worth trying. Please have food prepared by her its health. Everything is fresh. Ria's apouse Hari Das ji is a wonderful person. He is a trek guide and it was great experience to have him along to explore few places. Ria and her family are disciplined and they close their day early, so ensure to be mindful of this. in case you step out late evening/return late night ensure to get your water jug filled or any other support required before you leave so that there is no need of bothering them at late hours. Sumit and his grandfather are amazing hosts. Firstly, Sumit helped us to reach their place by advising us beforehand to use an alternate route. This helped us to reach the place easily. We were given a warm welcome by Sumit, his grandfather and his team. The place is surrounded by a jungle. This makes the location very peaceful. If you are looking for a break from your busy life, this is the perfect getaway. We stayed for just a day. Even then, Sumit made it memorable by taking us on a short trip to the nearby Pong Dam and Wildlife Sanctuary to watch the beautiful sunset. He also explained to us the history of the place in detail. When we returned, dinner was prepared. Food was tasty as it was prepared using home grown vegetables. We had dinner in the front porch under the night sky. We were also treated to a wonderful conversation by Sumit's grandfather which was another memorable experience. Sumit has tried to maintain the originality of the place while also keeping in mind, the practicality needed to accomodate guests. A jungle retreat like this is so many more times better than an urban 5 star hotel. They are honest, simple and hard working people who try their best to make the guests comfortable. The place is also close to the Masroor rock cut temples. All in all, I would highly recommend this place without doubt.

Our stay at Sila Himalayas was utmost relaxing & homely. Perfect place where earthiness meets elegance. Spacious rooms, stunning views, and the best food in Dharamshala make it a soulful escape. Every corner invites you to slow down and breathe. Surrounded by art, nature, and silence, it doesn’t just offer a stay—it folds you gently into the rhythm of the hills. A great place to unplug and unwind. I’m definitely coming back again and recommending it to a greater lot.

The experience was very similar to a home away from home . The host family interactions and their daily life activities made it feel safe, welcoming and overall hospitable and caring. The nearby stream and various viewing points which are at walkable distance made it very much appealing to stay here at the Maan Homestay and utilise the evenings for leisurely strolls and exploring being in the region. While we didn’t have many overt demands the host family always offered services to make the stay more comfortable like preparing spiced tea for a sore throat. The locally sourced, home cooked meals, made with produce from the family’s own fields were excellent and delectable. The openness of the family and home atmosphere was very endearing. Would love to return again.
