Covered Bridge Cottage

Located on a farm in the heart of Amish country and amid one of the largest concentrations of antiques in America, we are central to many attractions, yet quaint and secluded enough to provide a relaxing retreat. The Covered Bridge Cottage started out in the 1800’s as a mill office and over the years was converted into a home through several additions. The house has been in our family for close to a century and it was our honor to restore it to a comfortable, energy efficient, durable home.

Little Chestnut Cottage in the City

A stay in this restored whole house will give you the feeling of old Lancaster while enjoying modern amenities. Located across the street from a quaint city park, it is an easy walk to downtown attractions, many restaurants, rooftop bars, Central Market, shopping and more. Newly remodeled with original wide-plank flooring throughout the home. Two cozy upstairs bedrooms, one with queen size bed and spacious closet, the other with a full bed. Well-appointed kitchen with all new appliances.

This one floor living layout, is ideal for anyone traveling through for an over night stay or need a quaint, quiet space for several months. The fire pit, open backyard, and large family room make it very comfortable for a stay-in relaxing evening. We are located less than 12 miles from several popular destinations such as Sight and Sound, Dutch Wonderland, Fulton Opera House, Downtown Lancaster, Tanger Outlets, Spooky Nook, the town of Lititz, the town of Intercourse, etc.

You have full access to tranquil lower level of home. Private access and parking. minutes to route 272, 222 and 322. Private cul-de-sac in quiet town of Akron. Walk or ride your bike 1 block and your on the beautiful scenic RAIL-TRAIL with easy access to Ephrata, Akron and Lititz! FYI -If you are bringing your pet, the fee is $5 per night for extra cleaning .We love longer stays and offer a 5% discount for 7 days and 10% for 30 days! Come relax and enjoy the view!

Life in Lanc

Life in Lanc is located on the outskirts of downtown Lancaster City, just 15 minutes from the city square, Millersville, and from Strasburg and Amish country. This townhome was just built in 2020, and the Airbnb basement portion was finished in 2022, giving this space a new clean and fresh aesthetic. While the rest of the townhome is lived-in by us, the owners, all of the space you are booking is completely private.
