“Gregory’s beautiful house was the perfect location for a Boxing Day family gathering. The open plan living/dining area leading to the gorgeous kitchen made for a wonderfully relaxing few days and the beds were really comfortable. We loved the huge sparkly tree and the Christmas music playing when we arrived, a lovely touch! The village is quiet, there is a shop next door for essentials and some of us went on a nice circular walk for a couple of hours but the house is so gorgeous and well equipped that you really won’t want to leave it for long. Only small niggle is that it would have been great if both bathrooms had a shower, but we were in no rush - might be trickier if people are under time pressure. Gregory was very quick to respond to messages and really helpful. A magical few days for everyone.”

“This special little hideaway was a real gem to find. I was looking for a place to chill out and do some company planning as well as some personal time out. I took my small dog Sid for company too. The boat is just delightful and even though I knew the weather was going to be awful - just looking out onto the water while I worked and read was perfect. The log fire made the place really cosy and even though the wifi was a little choppy (prob due to bad weather), I was still able to watch some Netflix is reasonable quality. Thanks for a great stay - will be coming again I’m sure.”

“Spent a very pleasant few nights in this detached converted annex that was more spacious on the inside than I expected. Hosts were available but not intrusive. Bed was firm and comfortable, annex clean, no kitchen but some basic facilities to use like microwave/fridge etc and we did not mind not being able to cook as there are plenty of takeaway food options not too far away. Ely and Cambridge were lovely to visit and we would certainly stay at Roger & Anna’s again.”
