Holiday rentals with a kayak in Lake Sammamish

We had a lovely stay! The home is right next to the water, it was great to be able wake up and see the beautiful scenery. The home itself was very comfortable and had great amenities, everything we needed for a friends’ trip was available! Chad was very responsive and had great recommendations on what to do in the area. I would most definitely be happy to come back in the future!

We enjoyed our stay at the groovy lagoon very much! The hosts thought of everything from spices to having a big bottle or olive oil on hand, umbrellas, lots of beach towels. The kayaks were great but one doesn’t have a back rest which makes for a tougher time relaxing on it. The deck is lovely and we spent a lot of time out there, it could use an outdoor sofa but I understand it rains and might get moldy. The living room was a little smaller than the pictures and just has a small seat and the couch. If our whole family was there we wouldn’t all fit in the couch. Overall we loved our stay here and even when it was windy out the deck is super protected and calm. The heated floor in the bathroom was nice as well. The bedding was nice. It’s actually a 10 min drive to gig harbor but we liked being away from the hustle of the harbor to be honest.

Stayed here with my spouse for a weekend where we were going to a wedding. This was a perfect, peaceful getaway and everything we hoped for. Hope to be back soon!

We had such a lovely stay here over the Easter weekend – it was everything we hoped for and more! The house is clean, beautifully kept, and the views? Absolutely breathtaking. It’s one of those rare places that feels even better in person than in the pictures. It had everything we could possibly need – and then some. The hosts were simply wonderful – super friendly, accommodating, and just really easy to talk to. They made the whole experience feel warm and personal, not distant or transactional in any way. They even let us check in early and check out late, which made a huge difference for us with kids. Our days were filled with beach walks, seafood harvesting adventures, backyard chill time, and gorgeous sunsets. It felt like a perfect little reset from our busy lives. We were also celebrating our daughter’s 4th birthday during the stay, and she had an absolute blast. Can’t wait to come back. Thank you Dale & Carol.

By far the best short term rental we have ever had! If you value the old school rental experience, this is the perfect place for you. The cottage is in beautiful, clean and in updated condition. The hosts are warm and welcoming - friendly and not intrusive at all. They reached out prior and had the cutest welcome basket with snacks and champagne. I can’t say enough about the space and surrounding areas! We had a blast using the kayaks and paddle board, and the hosts even dropped off some pool floats to use in the lake as well. Kitchen was stocked well, beds were comfortable and moderately firm. Everything was extremely clean and well taken care of. We will be back!

A gorgeous spot on the lake - especially loved the fireplaces, hot tub, and dock w/ a view of Mount Rainier!

I booked Margo‘s place for my son and his wife for their honeymoon. They wanted a quiet, beautiful place near the water in the Pacific Northwest. This place was perfect.

I visited the cottage to escape the city for a few days. This place is absolutely adorable— completely drenched in natural sunlight. It manages to maintain its historical charm while also feeling modern. I did some remote work during the visit & the WiFi worked perfectly— I could even get signal sitting outside. It was a little too chilly to take advantage of the water, but even just sitting outside on the floating dock or the balcony provided a lot of peace. This place is the perfect mixture of providing a secluded feel while still being just a short drive to grocery/ restaurants. I truly loved my stay here & am already trying to figure out when I might be back!

I wish we had had more time in Lake Tapps and our stay there. You couldn’t ask for a better lakeside view and sunsets! The space was a good size for two adults and was in great condition. Very clean. Complimentary snacks and available use of kayaks, SUPs, fire pit, etc. were a nice touch, even if we didn’t get the chance to utilize all of them! Suzy was super nice and super responsive. If we find ourselves in or around Seattle again, I hope we can go back!

Beautiful place and amazing view. Enjoyed being right on the water - rooms, decks, fire pit(s), and hot tub were amazing. Really enjoyed watching the sea otters in the Sound. Well cared for place.

This place is amazing! I loved that it was like staying at a friend's house - it had so much character. Not boring and staged like a hotel. There wasn't an "owner's closet" like most rentals. Jess is a beautiful soul that shares her amazing space and genuinely wants you to enjoy every minute. From the decor to the records, hammock, outdoor tub, kayaks, exploring the low tide wildlife...everything brought peace and relaxation. We never even turned on the television...it was magical!

Wonderful stay. Beautiful surroundings and very cozy and comfortable house and furnishings. Really nice to have a hot tub right there with a view! Great for a big family or small group. Kitchen was very well supplied. Lots to do right around the property. Hosts had everything very organized and easy to follow. Would 100% stay again!

We had a wonderful and peaceful vacation weekend in Allyn! Fang’s home was easy to get to and settle into. We loved watching the water and tides, and it was easy to walk to restaurant, coffee shops and more. We spent most of our days on day trips in the region (Staircase Ridge & Hama Hama Oysters, and the Tacoma Zoo). This was the perfect place to recharge. We also loved the kayaks and hot tub, and generally cozy space. Fang was proactive and easy to communicate with throughout our stay as well.

If you want a location that gives you the sense of seclusion and provides you with great amenities to relax and unwind, then this is it. With two younger kids the bunk beds on the upper level were perfect and the king bed on the lower level was comfortable. The house was clean and had what you need to make for an easy stay. The hot tub was a hit, and the there are plenty of water craft options to enjoy the lake. Don’t hesitate to book this property!

Love the accommodations. Beautiful area. My only comment is the roof is loud. We could hear all the rain drops hitting the metal roof. The whole family loved the house and we enjoyed the lake. The house is clean, sofa could be updated. Would definitely like to stay there again.

Great location with easy access to the beach. Kitchen was very well stocked with items and it felt like Joni spent some good time there. Neighbors were very friendly. I would like to return. The property was super clean and Joni was very responsive and friendly host.

Our stay at Discovery Bay Lookout was an absolute dream—one of our favorite Airbnbs to date, and we travel often! The location is perfect if you’re looking to reconnect with nature. It felt secluded and peaceful, yet was just a short drive to groceries and restaurants. The cabin is magical—beautifully designed, warm, and thoughtfully organized. We loved cooking in the kitchen, reading in cozy nooks, and soaking in the hot tub and sauna while taking in the views. We traveled with two small kids, and Virginia went above and beyond by providing a high chair, toddler dishes, and so many thoughtful touches throughout. Her hospitality truly set this stay apart. We left feeling inspired and dreaming of owning a place like this one day. Until then, we hope to return. Don’t hesitate to book—just be sure to take great care of this special place so others can enjoy it too.

Me and my daughter had a very relaxing mini vacation at the A-Frame cabin. The water views were stunning. I highly recommend this airbnb location.

Hamid was an exceptional host. Always responsive and suer accommodating. We hosted a team meeting with 2 of our team members staying there and we all enjoyed the place. It is a little further away from the busy city so you will need a car to get travel in and out. The neighborhood is super quiet and the view is amazing. The house was overall super clean and organized. Highly recommend if you are looking for a cabin in the city.
