Pet-friendly holiday rentals in Lake Okeechobee

I came to Vero Beach to spend the weekend at the beach and the location was only a 5 minute drive to south beach park. Also some great restaurants nearby.

We had a great stay at this beautiful home! Kevin responded promptly when I was in a panic to book. We were already in town and our planned air bnb fell through. It was meant to be because this place was even better! It’s a beautiful house with everything needed plus a great dock on the canal for fishing and kayaking. Kevin and Faith are very friendly and accommodating!

Amazing little getaway location. Great for unplugging from society. Hosts did a really good job at making you feel at home, with complementary snacks and coffee. Air conditioning is great in the house, and the amenities are awesome.

This property is a beautiful old style Florida home with polished hardwood floors, ceiling fans, light bright colors and a deep, wide covered front porch that we spent lots of time sitting out on. The breeze from the waterways kept it very comfortable into the evening! Captains Galley across the street - FAB breakfast! Many many great restaurants all around. Blue sky, sun, ocean - paradise. The Fort Pierce inlet park and pier 5 minutes away for local color. Farmers market on Saturday - a mile away (if that) with lots of crafts and foods and music! Music from across the street was of several genres and all very good and really added to the vibe. We definitely plan to return to this jewel of a location 🌴🐠🍍

The listing was accurate with both the pictures and the description. The pool was in great shape and we enjoyed it very much. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen was well appointed with everything we needed. I would stay here again.

Das Ferienhaus von Justin liegt in einer sehr ruhigen Wohngegend in einer wunderschönen Wohnanlage, umgeben von 5 tollen Golfplätzen in toller Natur. 4 Personen haben ausreichend Platz in diesem gut ausgestatteten Ferienhaus mit 2 Schlafzimmern, 2 Badezimmern und einem großzügigen Wohn-/ Essbereich. Auf der Terrasse kann man wunderbar entspannen und auch Grillen. Alles war sehr ordentlich und sauber. Equipment wie z.B. Stühle, Sonnenschirme, Schwimmbretter, große Kühlbox und ein Handwagen für einen Strandbesuch sind vorhanden. Es gibt ausreichend Einkaufsmöglichkeiten wie z.B. Supermärkte, Restaurants und eine Mal, die in wenigen Minuten mit dem Auto erreichbar sind. Der Check-in und Check-out hat schnell und einfach funktioniert. Bei Fragen oder Problemen ist Justin sehr gut zu erreichen und hat schnell mit der passenden Antwort oder Lösung reagiert. Für uns war es rundum gelungener Urlaub an einem wunderschönen Urlaub. Wir kommen gerne wieder und sagen herzlichen Dank.

As soon as we walk in I felt such a calming sensation sweep over me. The house was beautiful and the pool was amazing. We had two fur babies and three kids that had a blast. Very peaceful neighborhood and plenty of treasure around town. Great home that meets all the needs of a family with fur babies included. The only thing I will say that was hard at first but we eventually could do with easy was bathe our toddlers in the shower. We typically use a tub. However, didn’t impact our stay. Besides that the house and overall stay was amazing.

This place was awesome as were the host. The house was very comfortable and super clean. The kitchen was equipped with everything we needed. I just can’t say enough about how great our stay was. We are definitely looking forward to visiting again next year.

What a gem! Rob & Marina are so wonderful with prompt clear communication since day one! My sister and enjoy our time here very much. The palm trees, porch, kitchen, bathroom,bedroom everything just perfect for us and you too. The AC was so great and the shower incredible with the water pressure and all. We enjoy Alexa.. We felt safe and very much at home. The area is very quiet and the palm trees so beautiful. We did not have a chance to enjoy the clean splash pool but had an amazing time at the beach very near by. Benny on the beach was so good! Everything was just flawless. Rob & Marina checked in on us about the pool and also provided transportation information for the beach very nice! Rob & Marina also allowed me to check in early due to my early flight who does this Rob & Marina 1000 stars just book really great host. We were not able to meet in person but the vibe via text was good enough. Thanks again for a wonderful 3 days and wish u nothing but positive vibe guest🙏🙏🙏

Las palabras sobran para dar una puntuación para este hermoso RANCHO!!!empezando por la comunicación y terminando en las comodidades,si pudiera dar 10 o 20 estrellas las daba,aquí tienen todo lo que necesitan para sentirse en casa,mi familia y yo viajamos desde North Carolina solo para pasar un fin de semana aquí y pues para nada nos arrepentimos,tal parecíamos que estábamos en CUBA,puerco asado con congris,tamales de todo hicimos,la casa adentro con todo lo suficiente desde toallas hasta papel de mano y utensilios de cocina,cafetera cubana que 1 vez que voy a un Airbnb y lo tiene jejeje,sin duda volvemos y pronto,gracias yusleidis y dennys por todas las atenciones brindadas,ya de regreso bien felices de haber pasado dos días en su hermoso Rancho!!! Eso sí los mosquitos hacen su trabajo en la noche pero se ponen su líquido para espantarlos y a beber 🍻

The house was spotless, very impressed by how pristine and clean everything was. Beautiful house exactly as pictured and about 10 minutes away from shopping and restaurants, and 30 minutesaway from the beach. We enjoyed the pool and the quiet neighborhood, would definitely stay again!

Alvino and Sandra were wonderful hosts. I was very happy about how clean and comfortable the RV was. There was plenty to do around the property such as hike, rest in the hammocks, play ball with the dog, cook in the outdoor kitchen, and cool off in the pool. The view of the cows, ducks, and turkeys was the cherry on the cake. The nights were quiet and peaceful ! Thank you both so much for accomodating us :)

Beautiful home on lakefront with amazing views. We loved that the nearby boat ramp was accessible to launch our boat. Kids loved the game/movie room. Host was very informative and responsive throughout the stay. Highly recommend the property. We would definitely stay here again!

We enjoyed our stay at Steve’s place. Upon arrival, we found the space tidy and kept up. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook meals and make it feel like home. The backyard felt like a little oasis and we enjoyed spending time out there throughout our stay. You are a five minute (or less) drive to a lot of restaurants and coffee shops in the area. If you are looking for a quiet place to stay with a nice backyard set up, this spot is for you.

We stayed here for five nights after coming from a wedding at The Pelican Club in Jupiter. We needed a place to relax after a very busy weekend. We were very happy with our stay. The place was very clean, stylish and comfortable. There were a few things that we took issue with. We paid an extra $65 to check in early. We got there after 11 and the code did not work. We reached out but the owner was not available for over an hour. We had groceries in our car-which is not great in the Florida weather. The main bedroom needs another curtain -it does not fill the sliding glass doors so it was bright all night long because of the pool lights. Our last issue was that we would have like to have been given at least an hour heads up for the landscapers and the pool guy on each day they came. One of us could have been taking an outdoor shower -we have a teenage daughter. Other than these small issues that can easily be fixed we really enjoyed our stay. We would definitely stay again.

We truly enjoyed or stay so much, I couldn’t ask for more from the entire experience. Everything inside was so new and clean and the house is beautiful with the great features inside and out. The hosts were quick to respond when we had any questions. Check in and checkout process was easy, felt like coming and going from my own home.

I recently stayed at the treehouse on Sunniland Ranch, and it was definitely a one-of-a-kind experience. If you’re looking for a getaway that combines nature, adventure, and a touch of rustic charm, this is the place for you. The treehouse is nestled in a peaceful, scenic ranch surrounded by open fields, beautiful horses, enus, a peacock, a small golf course and even a small pond. Waking up to the sight of horses grazing just outside was magical. It truly feels like a childhood dream to sleep in a treehouse. The structure is well-built and offers an immersive nature experience. From interacting with the horses to exploring the ranch, there’s plenty to do. The private airstrip is a cool touch for aviation enthusiasts. The pond adds a nice element of tranquility. Marcos truly goes above and beyond to make guests feel welcome. He is friendly, attentive, and full of great stories about the ranch. His hospitality made the stay even more amazing.

Highly recommend, It felt good to be away from the city, I finally got to live our my dream of drinking coffee in the morning watching the beautiful sunrise scenery. Thank you Ana, will stay again.

Our stay here was wonderful! We will be back for sure! Michael was the best host. We had an issue and he took care of it immediately! Ryan came out in a timely manner and went above and beyond. They were pleasant, kind, and very helpful. Local recommendations were also great! The home is spotless and just a perfect peaceful place to enjoy some time away from your busy schedule. This is the second time we stay at Stephany’s place and we could not have enjoyed it more. She and Chris are so hospitable and easy to communicate with. Their property is beautiful and it was just the getaway my family and I needed. Definitely recommend this place!

3 of us fisherman rented this house for a tournament on Okeechobee. They had plenty of room for all of us and our boats, they also had electricity available for us to charge our boat batteries each night. Communication was EXCELLENT and they were super helpful and checked in to asked if we had any issues while I was there. The place was spotless with new and modern updates all around.

book it..book it! they are terrific hosts, the house is comfortable and clean.and they are super responsive..we celebrated my husbands 83 birthday. and we will rent again.
