Cabin holiday rentals in Lake Okeechobee

Yvonne responded to texts within minutes answering any of our questions and was extremely accommodating to make our stay perfect. The beautiful little touches like the Xmas tree and Xmas music playing when we arrived made us feel very welcome. She provided everything we needed and some extras that we didn’t expect. Thank you Yvonne and family for making our stay so pleasant and such fun!

Peaceful surroundings

We had a lovely stay and my youngest daughter is already asking when we can go back. The home is beautifully kept. It was well-stocked. The kitchen is amazing! The property is enormous. The farm animals are really fun. It was a total success. There were only two minor things that don't even qualify as negatives. One, if you aren't used to well water, it may be a surprise. But, listen, the home is on a farm. Of course it's on a well. The other thing is that the bedrooms don't have real curtains so if you are sensitive to sunlight in the morning, then don't plan on sleeping in. But honestly, it's so nice there, I'm not sure why you'd want to waste your morning sleeping.

It was very cozy an quiet with a beautiful view of the water , we will definitely be planning a trip again.

James and Angela's cabin was lovely. Good place for watching the nightime sky next to a campfire. wifi was better than expected. If you are not afraid of country-bugs in South FL, I recommend this place.

Really loved staying here. It felt so peaceful and relaxing. Highly recommend and will be back.

We enjoyed our stay and the host was helpful to make that happen. Some things that made it challenging were the neighbors enjoying the weekend into the morning hours and other neighbors dogs barking at our child while we played in the yard. The second bathroom is also outside the house with the sauna, no big deal, but good to note for “busy” bathroom times. The kids area inside was great, we spent a lot of time there. Thank you

Stayed overnight at this adorable cozy cabin. The neighborhood was cute little log cabins and very peaceful, spent plenty of time outside on the dock and had a great sunset on the canal. Stephen our host was so helpful and accommodating. Would love to come back in the fall with our fishing poles!

We spent the weekend here celebrating my son's 15th birthday. The place was perfect for our family of 4 and we had everything we needed! The bed in the downstairs was very comfortable. The twins upstairs were ok for the boys. It was so nice to be right on the water with our own dock. The boys had some friends over to fish and I grilled out burgers on the gas grill for them. The mornings are so peaceful to sit out back and have a cup of coffee while the world wakes up. I would recommend to anyone looking for a slice of paradise!

My family and I stayed here over a long weekend and absolutely loved our time here—beautiful cabin located on a large property with great amenities. My children enjoyed the swings and the hammocks while my wife and I spent a nice evening by the fire pit. The cabin itself is so cozy and peaceful. The best part for me was waking up early and sitting on the porch in a rocking chair, listening to the birds. Specifically, the roosters and turkeys down the road. If you're looking for some quiet time from all the hustle and bustle...this is the place. We will definitely be returning in the future.

I stayed the weekend at the cabin with my daughter for my 40th birthday and I PROMISE you we didn't want to leave!!! Jane was sooo sweet and Aaron was our farm hero!🦸‍♀️He taught us to saddle a horse and chop firewood, started our fire pit for us and made sure we were taken care of the entire weekend! But the best part, the aaaaaanimals . . . we adopted a family of the SWEETEST cats on this earth for the weekend, played with the coolest donkeys, goats, horses, chickens . . . it was the absolute BEST! I can't even describe the energy and the ambiance of this place, but I did post a TikTok video to help promote them if you'd like a peek. It was absolutely the weekend we needed and we'll 100% be back! ✨🫶✨

Loved our stay here. Very quiet and private.

This was my second time staying at this incredible cabin and I was so happy to return. This property is in a gorgeous part of remote South Florida which is exactly what I was looking for - peace, quiet, and a place to unplug. It is best to be prepared with everything you will need for cooking as there isn't a store super close by. The master bedroom is a dream with vaulted ceiling, comfy bed and really cool cypress knob furniture. We walked on the state land behind the property which was really beautiful and there is a really cool trail about 15 minutes away with some incredible woods. If you are looking to escape to a cabin with the comfort of AC, hot showers, a full kitchen, wifi etc this is the place. Thanks Jim for sharing your slice of paradise!
