Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Lake Michigan

The home was perfect for a multigenerational family vacation. The setting was absolutely beautiful. The kitchen was very functional. There was space and supplies for the toddler as well as the dogs. We enjoyed our stay.

Denise was responsive, kind, and extremely helpful. Her house was immaculate, with every detail considered. Thoroughly enjoyed our time at Spyglass!

We had an amazing time during our stay, it truly felt like a home away from home! Everything was clean, cozy, and welcoming. We had absolutely no complaints, only compliments. The hosts were incredibly responsive and accommodating, always helpful and quick to answer any questions we had. The nearby lake was a highlight; so peaceful and fun to explore. We especially enjoyed taking morning walks around it; it’s a perfect way to start the day. We also recommend making the short 18-minute drive to Shipshewana, Indiana. It’s such a charming town with lots to see and do. Highly recommend this stay to anyone looking for comfort, relaxation, and a great location!

Great private space on a quiet street. Lots of breweries and restaurants a quick drive away. Amenities were just as described and the space is in great condition.

What a gem! Having an opportunity to be immersed in this setting & taking in the full experience of a home as it was meant to be lived in by FLW is such a treat. The cherry on top was the incredible bird watching. The evening “show” on the boat dock was an unexpected & delightful surprise.

This was my partner and I's 2nd time staying here and it was just as serene as the first time. It was more cloudy/overcast with some rain when we arrived- but for us that was perfect as it kept the sunroom cooler and made it so incredibly cozy. Our cats immediately felt relaxed as well, usually finding them lounging on the blanketed chairs. Kitchen stocked, previous guests left condiments (all were in date, no expired) which was really nice to not have to buy if we didn't want to. For us the main attraction was 100% the sun room, it's fully enclosed with windows that can be opened, it has a suspended chair that was comfy and sturdy enough to hold my 260 lbs without trouble at all. And there's so many pillows, blankets that it's just... why would you spend time anywhere else? We've stayed now during both winter and summer months and each time it's been lovely, fully recommend!

My friend and I took a few days away from work and found this gem! This place was so beautiful and relaxing! You feel like you're in the middle of nowhere and literally 10 minutes away is everything you need. The house was updated, clean and tidy, and he allowed us to bring our puppies with us and they absolutely loved it. We will definitely come back to this spot in the future. Thank you!!!

Maybe the best Airbnb attached to someone’s home that I’ve ever stayed in. Such a sweet set up. Very comfortable, clean, private. Thankful for the keurig for coffee and water bottles in the frig. My stay was short but very restful and waking up to have my morning coffee out on the deck and watch the river and the birds was the highlight of my stay. Mark was very good with communicating and gave clear instructions. The Airbnb was easy to find, even in the dark. Of course being attached to their home there was a bit of noise from the kids in the morning but that wasn’t until after 9am and didn’t bother me at all. I’d definitely stay again if I’m in the area!

Secluded neighborhood with great access to the beach at Lake Michigan. I felt like I had the whole lake to myself.

I absolutely loved my stay at this charming studio! It had everything I needed for a comfortable and relaxing solo retreat. The setting is incredible - right on the water. The views were breathtaking, especially at sunrise, and the private sandy beach made it feel like a hidden oasis. The landscaping is gorgeous , and the beachfront seating, fire pit, and beach toys made it easy to unwind and enjoy. The patio was a perfect spot to relax with a view and peaceful atmosphere. The owners were so kind and welcoming. It felt tucked away, yet still close to everything. Truly the best of both worlds. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a quiet, and relaxing stay with stunning setting.

So fun for our family of 4. We enjoyed the lake and cozy accommodations. Can hear people walking and talking upstairs, which were used to and felt right at home. Thoughtful instructions made everything clear. All was spotless and clean. A real treasure!

We had an awesome long weekend at Morton's Retreat. We loved visiting Three Oaks and Sawyer, and going on a few short hikes nearby. We especially loved grabbing drinks at the Historian. The Airbnb is on a busy road, but there is a bike path that runs by it and it's a short walk to Luisa's Swedish bakery, which was excellent. The place was clean and even a bit larger than we expected. Great for a relaxing long weekend.

This was my second time at the snowshoe cabin. It was a great base for finding local trails and parks. Lori was very accommodating with my checkout when I needed some extra time.

We had a wonderful stay! The cabin was cozy and made us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. Our kids had an absolute blast at the lake—paddle boarding and kayaking were definitely the highlights for them. Great stay. Cute and cozy cabin. The pictures show it as brown, but its now purple and no addresss is on the outside, so it was a little tricky to find. Dog friendly. Everything you need and extras. Thank you.

The cabin is very cute great location. right by Kenosha harbor. They have great amenities, shampoo, snacks. we got to enjoy our favorite restaurant Carl's pizza. ♥️

Wow - we can't say enough about how amazing our time was. Amazing views, amazing quiet, amazing cabin...all the things. When we had a little snafu with bed sheets, Elizabeth responded immediately in the morning and had everything resolved within 90 minutes. FANTASTIC!!! Location - literally everything (except Washington Island) was within a 25 minute drive. Perfect location to get to Egg Harbor, Fish Creek and all the fun restaurants and places in between. Check out the Rusty Tractor for breakfast when you are here. It's about 5 minutes from the cabin and has incredible breakfast! It has been a LONG time since we have been able to take a vacation with just the two of us, and we could not have found a more perfect place. Amazing!!!

We had such a great stay! The house was beautiful and in a perfect spot-close to our kids’ camp and not far from Lake Geneva, but still super peaceful and quiet. The place was really well thought out with stainless steel pots and cooking utensils (which I so appreciated!), plus coffee and tea stocked for us. The hot tub was amazing after long days, and I appreciated all the outdoor seating. The fire pit was perfect for making s’mores. Our kids are already asking when we can go back! You can tell the hosts put a lot of care into the space. It was clean, cozy, and had everything we needed. We felt right at home and would absolutely stay again!

What an absolute delight. Jill had a tiny binder with recommendations. The restaurants she recommended are must haves and didn't disappoint. Home is in pristine condition and so cozy. Jill communicated so well and made us feel so welcomed. What a great experience and would love to go back someday but maybe longer. Just beautiful and so lucky to have found this place. We loved your little cabin. The area was beautiful and quiet without city distractions. We loved watching the birds and the deer each morning. We knew that there were other cabins on the property but didn’t realize just how close; however, after parking and unloading, we never needed to go out back so you would never know the other cabin is there. We loved how you have that set up. Thank you for sharing your space.
