Holiday rentals with lake access in Lake Michigan

My girlfriend and I had a wonderful first getaway at Sarah’s place. The property was peaceful, private, and the perfect spot to relax and unwind. We had a great time visiting Na-Tah-Ka, exploring Ludington, the Silver Lake Sand Dunes, and more — but some of our favorite moments were just spent enjoying the quiet beauty of the property itself. We’ll definitely be back to soak in the tranquility and natural surroundings again. Sarah was a kind and responsive host, and her place is absolutely worth the stay. 🌲

My husband and I stayed with our 2 boys. The place was extremely clean and stocked with anything you could possibly need. The property itself was breathtaking and had so many little areas to explore. Breathtaking views from all areas. Travis was extremely helpful and friendly. We would definitely recommend!

This place lived up to the hype! It was tucked in a serene wooded area with the beach a short distance away. The stay was clean, beautifully decorated, and had all the amenities needed for our five day stay, including super comfortable beach chairs. We spent many hours reading and playing chess in the three season room. It was nice the place was equidistant from Saugatuck and Holland, making exploring both towns easy. One disclaimer for anyone with mobility issues—Laketown Beach can be extremely challenging to access (particularly on the way back) since it is a large hill and a super sandy trail. Something to keep in mind when booking.

To find a place in the middle of Sheboygan and right on the beach was fantastic. We loved the location but everything about the house was really perfect. Easy, super clean, and comfortable in every way.

We came into town to stay for a few days to celebrate a birthday. the home was absolutely gorgeous, modern, and everything was carefully thought out. Anything you could need, they have thought of! The hosts were very communicative and the fact that we could bring the pups, really made this trip more fun. The only suggestion I have would be to possibly add a fence and a hot tub, then you have no reason to leave! 😉

We were impressed by the comfort and welcome of the little red cabin. The hosts were wonderful, amenities plentiful and the cabin was cozy. We very much enjoyed the fire pit and the rocking Adirondack chairs. The outdoor space allowed us to soak up the sun and gain a quiet break from the city life. Easy to drive around this area + we really enjoyed our time spent at the cabin cooking meals and spending time with our dog (it was so amazing that there were bowls there for him). The location was perfect for us. We look forward to returning for another future visit.

Great private space on a quiet street. Lots of breweries and restaurants a quick drive away. Amenities were just as described and the space is in great condition.

This is a beautiful location and a lovely comfortable home. A great place to escape to when reality is wearing one down. Well equipped.

It was a beautiful setting. Attached to the winery but on the back side so we had privacy too.

My husband and I stayed here right after our wedding. Just a little getaway after all the fun and craziness. The Airbnb was beautiful and exactly like described in the description and photos! It had a sauna, a beautiful bathroom with a separate shower and tub, and a beer on tap, which was a fun little bonus! The balcony was our favorite part. We sat outside in the mornings with a coffee and enjoyed the views (and honestly the people watching lol). The lake is literally across the street and the 3 minute walk was awesome. Overall a wonderful experience! Highly recommend if you need a quick getaway or want to treat yourself to a more “high tech” luxury apartment 🥰

Irene and Martin were very helpful and friendly. The place was cute and clean. It was exactly what I needed, peace and relaxation. The beach was a three minute walk and it wasn’t crowded. We brought firewood and outside by the fire pit there’s nice furniture and it feels like you’re in a little woodland area with nobody around.

I absolutely loved my stay at this charming studio! It had everything I needed for a comfortable and relaxing solo retreat. The setting is incredible - right on the water. The views were breathtaking, especially at sunrise, and the private sandy beach made it feel like a hidden oasis. The landscaping is gorgeous , and the beachfront seating, fire pit, and beach toys made it easy to unwind and enjoy. The patio was a perfect spot to relax with a view and peaceful atmosphere. The owners were so kind and welcoming. It felt tucked away, yet still close to everything. Truly the best of both worlds. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a quiet, and relaxing stay with stunning setting.

So fun for our family of 4. We enjoyed the lake and cozy accommodations. Can hear people walking and talking upstairs, which were used to and felt right at home. Thoughtful instructions made everything clear. All was spotless and clean. A real treasure!

We really enjoyed our stay. Very convenient and could walk to the water. The little deck in back was a nice spot to have coffee.

Location was perfect for all of the up north adventures like sleeping bear dunes, Leelanau Peninsula, hiking, golfing, and of course Lake Michigan. This spot was a perfect quiet retreat at the end of the busy days, and had stunning views! I would happily stay here again.

This home is a peaceful, quiet, retreat. The views were the biggest plus for us. Dan has really nice outdoor furniture, hammock and firepit.....And when moving indoors, comfortable, clean sofas to sit and watch the water too. For a "dog friendly home", the owners have really done a great job of keeping the indoor spaces very clean and bright. We felt very comfortable amd relaxed here. What a great southern Door spot!

What a great stay! I love an A frame and this house was perfect. It was well stocked - even had plenty of wood for the fire pit. The s'mores welcome kit was perfect. I will say that if you have a hard time with stairs then this house probably isn't for you because the bedrooms are upstairs and the bathroom is downstairs but Carrie has several other homes to choose from. It really is peaceful. There are neighbors but they are quiet and we only saw one set of neighbors the three days we were there. The dirt roads to the house weren't bad either. I will stay here again and highly recommend it to friends and family. Actually am seriously considering taking my 3 college age daughters for a girls' weekend.

My family and I all really enjoyed this Airbnb!! It made our weekend less stressful and more relaxing! Will definitely like to stay here again when we are in town.

My family and I had an amazing and wonderful time at Erick’s home. It was clean, well put together and it felt like home. Erick was so helpful and inviting we felt like family. I can’t thank you enough Erick for helping my family and I make beautiful memories. BTW the walk to beach was a piece of cake, and I’m 5 months pregnant. 🏃🏾‍♀️🏃🏾‍♀️💨. **Review of Our Stay at Teresa's AirB&B** If I could rate this place a 10, I absolutely would! From the moment we booked Teresa's AirB&B, my expectations were exceeded. I anticipated a simple house, but what we found was a fully stocked home that made us feel truly welcomed—perhaps I even overpacked! The cleanliness of the property was impressive; it looked exactly as depicted in the photos. We enjoyed a variety of activities, including kayaking and cozy bonfires in the backyard, which added to our memorable experience. The attention to detail was remarkable, and the proximity to the lake, just a few minutes away, made our stay even more enjoyable. We even drove up to Leland Mi “fish town” Overall, My 35th birthday was awesome! we had an amazing time and are already planning our return.
