Holiday rentals with outdoor seating in Lake Maxinkuckee

The sunsets from the dock were amazing with the way the house was situated. The house was perfect for what we needed. It was located in a private, peaceful neighborhood with beautiful views of the lake. We saw a family of turtles hanging out near the shore every day.

This was our second time we have stayed at one of Ryan's properties. His properties are beautiful you can see that from the photos. Our stay was so relaxing and enjoyable exactly what we all needed. OMG! The pictures DO NOT DO IT JUSTICE!! I thought I walked into the wrong airbnb! I am not kidding! It was absolutely gorgeous!! Super luxurious! Oh and he had EVERYTHING in every room! From a „pantry“ stocked with all kinds of games, to fancy bathtubs, showers and jets! I have never seen a kitchen that literally had everything! Different kinds of coffees and even to go cups. Simply amazing. The outdoor area had a fire pit for like 8 people WITH plenty of firewood and a huge LIGHTER. He also has a tennis court with pickle ball, badminton and tennis rackets. I mean what else does one need?! Lastly he was extremely kind. A guest broke a sugar container accidentally, and Chris told us not to worry. We definitely will be staying here next year when we return for our annual rivertubing occasion. :)

We had a beautiful, peaceful stay at Karissa’s cabin. Lots of natural lighting, spacious unit, and lovely amenities like WiFi, jacuzzi, kitchen appliances, and washer/dryer. There are a lot of nearby stores for any last minute groceries or shopping. The views were absolutely stunning. I would recommend staying here and would absolutely come back again but in the warmer season to explore that trails here! Thank you for having us at your cabin! We had such a nice, relaxing stay.

We had such a great stay! Kerry was the best host -- super helpful and communicative. definitely a great place to stay in Culver with a family or group of friends!

Clean and cozy. Host was very responsive. Only issue was that I couldn’t find any garbage bags, so I couldn’t empty the garbages like I would have liked to. Beautiful tiny home and perfect location across the park with close access to forest trails.

My husband and I enjoyed our stay at Diana’s place. The apartment was very clean and located within walking distance to the charming downtown area. If I had any questions, Diana was very quick to respond and easy to communicate with.

The place is was very nice and clean! Price is worth it and it’s also very relaxing. The hosts were very nice and welcoming too! Would stay here again if in the area!

Our mini vacation here was awesome. Having the water right there was so nice and the hosts had anything you would need. I would definitely stay here again. They were so nice and accommodating.

The condo was just as described. Nicely decorated and very comfortable furniture in both living room and bedroom. It had very easy access to the water. It was pretty quiet since we were there Thursday to Saturday, not the full weekend, which we liked. Condos have shared walls so always a bit of “neighbor noise” just due to proximity, but honestly it was minimal. We had neighbors on both sides above and only heard minimal noise in the mornings. There is also ready access to charging which was great given we have an electric car.

We stayed here for five nights while in town for a memorial service. This was absolutely, hands down the best Airbnb experience we’ve had yet! The neighborhood was peaceful and we felt totally safe. The unit was spotless and so comfortable! Exactly as pictured, which is so refreshing!! Everything was well cared for and we had so much room for our things. Sharon was kind enough to leave water, coffee and a few welcome snacks, which is so nice and unexpected! The bed is also comfy with premium sheets and more than enough towels. The deep bathtub was also a pleasant surprise. The reason for our visit was a sad occasion, but the warm, comfortable acomodations really helped us cope - it felt like home. This will be our “go to” place when we come to visit family!

Jennifer was super responsive and easy to deal with! The unit was just as described and the location was top notch - easy to get to restaurants and shops nearby! The view of the lake was great. Also, very easy and non-hassle check in and check out! Would definitely stay here again!

Tanner’s place was beautiful! Few steps away from the lake. Loved the view as the sun was setting. Definitely recommend if you’re looking for a quiet peaceful place. Will definitely be staying here again.
