Welcome to "Cabin on Swede Hill". Our family has farmed this land since 1871. My great grandparents, Swan and Johanna Johnson immigrated to America in the 1860's, found this land which was similar to Sweden. They raised their family here. Approximately 65 Swedish families settled in this community, became to be know as the "Swede Hills". We just received the Hoosier Homestead Award from Indiana celebrating the Sesquicentennial Award. Welcome to our home in Culver Indiana,. This is a 2 bedroom apartment that is a walkout basement with completely separate entrance on back of home. Our home is newly constructed with all new furnishings. This home is very close to Lax Max located downtown Culver and very close to Culver Academies and near all of the downtown restaurants. We have a child that attends the Academy and purchased this home because it was so hard to find a place to stay and we decided we would rent it to others also.
