The cabin is just south of Grand Lake, It is extremely easy to access via car, has a great view of Rocky Mountain National Park, and boasts all of the modern amenities to make you feel comfortable during your stay. Built in 1961, our tiny cabin is located in the heart of Grand County just outside the charming and picturesque town of Grand Lake between Lake Granby and Shadow Mountain Lake. Our 2 BR, 2 BA rustic cabin has basic modern conveniences to make for a wonderful mountain vacation experience. WiFi is now available, but we encourage you and your family to enjoy the simplicity of the cabin, unplug & get away from it all. The natural outdoor environment is perfect for relaxing & viewing local wildlife.

Enjoy making ever-lasting memories at our Cabin. In the Spring through Autumn we offer a canoe, 2-kayaks and paddle board from our private dock where you may fish and play on the water all day or relax by the campfire while you roast marshmallows and enjoy family laughter. GL town is 1 mile away from the cabin. RMNP is near as well Let us spoil you with a fully stocked kitchen, comfy beds, and spa like bathrooms. Our lodge is 3 miles from the charming town of Grand Lake & 7 miles from the Western Gateway to Rocky Mountain National Park. Cozy up to one of our 12 themed cabins nestled up to the canal. Enjoy the comfortable atmosphere of the mountains by our 2 communal fire pits. Year around fishing, hiking, and new Gameroom. MLL was built in the 1950's; these authentic rustic cabins are the perfect retreat. Onsite are 3 outside security cameras for your safety. One camera is located in detached Gameroom.

Enjoy a private getaway for 2 with wood-burning stove (MUST bring firewood), indoor dining/cooking area with 2-burner propane stove (propane provided), sleeping loft, outdoor sitting area with propane gas grill. NO electricity or running water. Outdoor shower stall with two 5-gallon solar heated shower bags. Bring towels. Outhouse nearby. Bring food & ice. Well water provided from spigot at main cabin. Cot available UPON REQUEST in advance - prior arrival. NO CAMPFIRES OR USE OF ANY FIREPITS.

This historic yet modern 500 square foot cabin was built in 1932 for men working on the Shadow Mountain dam. When we found it, we knew this would be the perfect getaway for us and wanted others to share this experience too. Our cabin is 4 miles from downtown Grand Lake! It's a short drive to restaurants, shops, hiking, fishing, the beach and kayak/boat rentals. Head to the Rocky Mountain National park to hike and see wildlife or stay home and enjoy s'mores around the fire.
