Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Lac-Brome

We enjoyed our stay at Wood Loft, the space is charming and well located. Halfway between all the destinations we wanted to see (Sherbrooke, Mont Orford, Magog), it was very easy to pick up a forgotten ingredient at the local grocery store. An ideal place to rest before a hike or a bike ride.

Had an amazing time, hosts were friendly and absolutely 0 complaints. Would highly recommend for a peaceful getaway.

It is a magnificent and calm place. We did not take advantage of the pedal boat, the BBQ and the outdoor fire even though they were very easy to access. On the other hand, we took advantage of the breathtaking view of the lake, the hard-working little beaver and the little roe deer that came to visit us the first morning... Beautiful...😍

Sara and her mom are very easy-going hosts. I traveled with a friend and two dogs, and we all felt very welcomed. There's a small fenced in area on the roadside of the house, and tons of open farmland in the back -- both were great for letting the dogs out. Sara's parents are very quiet neighbors, but it was also nice to know they were nearby if anything came up. A 26-mile rail trail starts out of Richford, which is a five minute drive from the house.

Our stay was great,the scenery is beautiful and a nice little get away from the city!

We loved the place; it was even more beautiful than in the photos. The tranquillity of the place charmed us. It was pleasant (and different) to spend time in the front of the house on the swing or on the covered balcony. Philippe is an attentive and very responsive host. All of his instructions were very clear. We'll be happy to come back!

Nicholas’s place was great, about 15 minutes from Jay. The house was very clean and everything was well explained. We had a great time and would love to come back!

Has the most peaceful cottage with the most beautiful view! Would definitely recommend to others and come back again!

Great place, location and amenities. We walked to Antitdote Food Lab... highly recomended... took an Uber back. The next day we drove downtown, stopping at Caffucino on the way, and walked the Murals of Sherbrooke using the Balado app as our virtual guide. Had a nice lunch at Restaurant Le Tapageur and returned Fredrico's place to chill on the patio. Nice short stay in June with great weather.

Relaxing weekend in a very clean place where everything has been thought out. Fast and enjoyable communications with owners. The hot tub and balcony sheltered from the rain allowed us to enjoy the outdoors. We'll definitely be back!

Audrey's place was as expected and perfect for what I needed: clean and comfortable, the bed was cosy yet firm, the place felt private and safe. A very pleasant stay which I hope to repeat!

Perfect peaceful stay, close to Jay Peak and the Inn's restaraunt is right down the road. Right on the river, we enjoyed being able to do a polar plunge in the woods to start our day! Our pup felt right at home and it's a perfect place to stay anytime of the year

Everything was fantastic. The house is spectacular. The pictures cannot even begin to capture the beauty. Every nook was inviting. The kitchen was well equipped for cooking. The location was peaceful and serene. Jessica made everything so easy and effortless.

The cabin was absolutely perfect for us. The dogs were able to be unleashed… of course they were under voice control, but they were happy. And so were we. Definitely relaxing, clean, and quiet. Nice place! Views were extraordinary!

My boyfriend and I stayed at the Owl's Head Cabin for a long weekend skiing at Jay. The cabin is small and cozy, very warm, and the right size for two people for a weekend. In addition to the main bed, there's a loft with a sleeping area, but you'd have to be very small to get into it and enjoy it; I'd guess the cabin would be a bit small for a couple with children but maybe if you're out all day it'd be okay. Cooking appliances worked well. The one note of caution is that you have to drive on a somewhat rough, uphill dirt road for at least 3 or 4 miles to reach the cabin. We fortunately did not have to drive during a time when there was actively snow falling on the road, but the 2wd sedan we rented definitely would not have made it in those conditions; it was a little harrowing even with just the slush and ruts left after plowing. So be careful if your trip coincides with nastier weather! Jason was very communicative and left clear instructions. Overall, we had a lovely stay.

A magical place. Geese migrating every morning and evening, exploring the pond in their rowboat, turtles, great blue heron, king fisher, frogs, great hikes through the woods, so many mushrooms, mosses, pines, the deck, screened-in porch, great bed, well stocked kitchen - we loved it all. Thank you!

Wonderful cabin, my friend and I had such a relaxing time here. Sharon added a lot of thoughtful touches and both the interiors and the view were even more stunning than the pictures - despite the rainy weather!

Lee's cabin provided a great escape from the busyness of life. The surroundings were beautiful and the waterfall was impressive! We enjoyed a walk around the neighborhood, exploring the rivers, covered bridges, and cute houses with barn quilts. In town, we enjoyed getting coffee and pastries at Cafe Oma (inside the bikeshop!) and had some amazing nachos at the Snowshoe Lodge and Pub. Stowe is a beautiful easy drive from the cabin and has lots to explore! Lunch at the Von Trappe family lodge was a highlight. The cabin itself feels private even though it shares a yard with Lee. It was cozy and comfortable, and the kitchen was convenient when we wanted to stay in. The outdoor fireplace was the perfect way to spend our last evening there. Through it all, Lee was very helpful and responsive -- and we had the sense that Lee could (and would) provide whatever was needed to ensure an enjoyable stay. This is a perfect place if you just need to get away from it all and enjoy the beauty of VT!

We had a wonderful stay at Annie’s cabin! She was incredibly kind and welcoming, and the property was absolutely beautiful. The cabin itself was small, cozy, and just what we were looking for, a peaceful weekend retreat tucked away in the woods. Everything was clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully prepared. We loved the welcome basket that had a few treats with a Vermont vibe. If you're looking for a quiet, nature-filled getaway, this is the perfect spot. Highly recommend!
