Located in the top of our cellar, where we vinify natural wines, in a group of buildings from the 12th to the 18th century, it is located in the heart of a particularly calm and peaceful hamlet. After renovation of the Chateau de Candeze dating from 1480,located in one of the most beautiful villages in France,we have rehabilitated the lower part of the castle,to make it a 100 m2 apartment with private access on one of the most beautiful streets of this medieval village. Quiet,rest,freshness awaits you in,inside or old paving, stone vault,old doors,antique furniture create the decor. Spacious apartment with a large family room. You will have access to a big adjoining park.

The Castrum

The 3-star gîte (CDT 31) is housed in an old 13th century house that overlooks the vast village square and is part of the old medieval castrum (fortified square) whose thickness of certain walls and the embrasures recall the ancient origins of the place. The village is part of the Cocagne region within the "blue gold triangle" connecting Albi, Toulouse and Carcassonne, a region steeped in history related to the culture and flourishing trade of pastel in the 14th century.

The house will be entirely and only for you. The house consists of 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and a large living room (kitchen, dining room, living room). It is an old barn surrounded by fields that we continue to renovate. We live in the right side of the house and rent the left side as a large apartment of about 100 m2. We are located in Buzet-sur-Tarn, about 20 minutes from Toulouse, 25 minutes from Albi and 35 minutes from Montauban.
