Holiday rentals with beach access in La Porte

I was looking for a cozy spot with a jacuzzi for a weekend celebration for my husband’s birthday and it was so much more than that. Carlo was super helpful with recommendations and quick to respond back. Such a great area to walk around and explore. We loved staying here and are looking to book later again this year!

This was a very nice place. I hand it to the owners for having high-quality towels and amenities! We appreciated their attention to these details. The place was smaller than we anticipated and it has one queen bed in one room and in the entry area was a couch that pulls out into a queen size sofa with a meticulously kept kitchen. The place overall was very clean. The biggest downside was noise all day and all morning. We could hear people above us running around and on the other side of the wall from us doing laundry. It made it difficult to sleep in, but overall we thought this was a great place in a great location in a very peaceful community.

Kirby and Taryn have a home that is aesthetically pleasing, comfortable and cozy. They were proactive in messaging and clearly available if anything arose. Because every detail had been attended to, we did not need to reach back to them. From check-in to checkout everything was easy! They provided surprising touches including a book with a lot of information about sites, restaurants, etc. it will be the first place I look to go when I am in the area again. Thanks Kirby & Taryn!

We loved our weekend at Ozzie’s in Southwest Michigan! The unit is connected to a warehouse-style building that serves as an artist’s studio, but no one lives on the property, so it still felt very private. We drove in from Chicago and made a long weekend out of a wedding at Journeyman—this location was absolutely perfect for that! Angela was incredibly responsive and made sure we had everything we needed. She even left us some thoughtful beach snacks, which we really appreciated. We stayed for three nights, and the unit was just right for my husband and me—quaint, cozy, and more spacious than a typical hotel room. The location truly can’t be beat. We spent time exploring Union Pier, Sawyer, and New Buffalo, and enjoyed two beach days at Warren Dunes, just minutes away. If you’re looking to escape the hustle and bustle and enjoy all this beautiful area has to offer, this is the perfect spot. We’ll happily return!

Erica's listing was great. I would stay there again for sure. amazing communication and since the place was not booked before or after she gave us early check in/late check out if we wanted to utilize it.

We rented this property for our family with two little children. Although a bit small , it worked well for our needs. Lovely area, with a short pleasant walk to Lake Michigan beaches. We used to live in this neighborhood so it was very nice to revisit the area.

I am still going to give a 5 star review regardless of a couple issues we had. First of all the house, amenities, and outside area are excellent and as described. The location feels very private and it is what we were looking for. We had 3 total issues during our stay, and 2/3 minimum were outside of the owner's control. During our drive in the Benton Harbor area had 60-70mph straight line winds that blew the outside furniture into the driveway. This storm also caused water to bypass a window and get the floor a bit dirty. Owners drove out early next morning and replaced outdoor furniture and I wiped up the water in the house. In the morning we realized the hot water was out. Owners immediately drove back out and investigated. They happened to have a property that was vacant at the time, and gave us access to it to drive there and shower. Overall communication and response was excellent. Owners made us whole, and I would recommend.

We had an amazing time staying here for our joint Bachelor/Bachelorette weekend! It is a beautiful property that comfortably fit all 13 of us! We miss it already! It was a great time :)

We all walked in and said WOW! It was beautiful and had so much charm. We have stayed in many rentals and this was by far the cleanest and most organized. We traveled with 3 couples and there was plenty of room to gather and socialize and room to just chill by yourself. The boardwalk made for a wonderful morning walk. Brittany was a terrific host answering any questions I had and providing a list of thing to do in the area. Certainly worth the money! We would definitely stay again. Rita

This was a lovely place to stay. iIt was a short drive from different restaurants and coffee shops and a short walk to the beach. Chris was very helpful with his instructions and suggestions on places to visit. The house was beautiful and had plenty of space for everyone. The views in the backyard were beautiful.

We had a wonderful time at this adorable, comfortable home surrounded by trees. All the rooms were equipped with fans. Beds were comfy and the cottage was nicely updated with tons of character. We were there on a very warm summer weekend and I will say that we were glad we did not need to have anyone sleep on the porch because that would have been toasty, so do be aware of that. Highly recommend!

We really enjoyed our stay at Jennifer’s house! It was clean, great location & cozy! We especially loved the automatic pool cover so we could actually relax on vacation with our little ones running around. I also loved the three separate areas outside (pool, fire pit, grassy area). The separate areas offered a nice change of scenery to break up the day without leaving the house. I also loved that it’s a spacious ranch style house, so was easy to keep eyes on the kids. Jennifer was a wonderful & accommodating host & can’t wait to get back to her house soon! Thanks for having us!

Excellent location in a cute (and quiet) neighborhood just two blocks from a couple of great restaurants and walking distance to the beach. We left very refreshed and relaxed. Everything was as expected or better.

Met expectations in every way. Clean, well maintained condo. Great location with several restaurants within walking distance, and a 10 minute walk to the beach. Beach gear was provided. Well stocked kitchen amenities and board games. Host responded quickly to all emails. Very well run. Easy all the way around.

My husband and I visited Bridgeman for our baby moon. Nicole‘s place was nothing short of amazing. It was super clean and had everything you need for a great trip.

This condo was super-clean. We loved the balcony, where we could relax after climbing dunes with our grandkids! Good mattresses (our daughter & husband took the upstairs bedroom) and we appreciated the king-sized beds. There is quite a tall stairway to climb to get to the 2nd floor. Otherwise, easy access (we used the August app) from the parking lot.

Really enjoyed our stay. Melanie was responsive and checked in on us to see how are stay was going and if we needed anything. She explained everything so well beforehand that we didn’t need any help. She was a fantastic host and the place was great. Definitely recommend and would go back!

The penthouse was the perfect spot for a family getaway! Rooms were large and well laid out, kitchen had everything we needed, the Michigan city and new Buffalo had lots of great restaurants for dining out or takeout. Everything was immaculately clean, René was responsive, friendly, and helpful. The outside and the neighborhood do not reflect the gem inside! We had a really comfortable stay, and will definitely be back!

Ashley was a great host! She provided clear instructions for check-in/check-out, had nice local recommendations, and was extremely responsive. I also appreciated that she was willing to accommodate my travel dates near the last minute due to a death in my family. The unit was very clean and well-stocked. I loved the beautiful views from each window and the quiet, serene environment. Although I could hear the train at night, it was not super loud - kinda just like background noise. I actually found it to be peaceful (maybe because I’m from the city lol). Would love to visit again! :)
