We had a great time at Melanie and Richard's! The accommodation was perfect and very well equipped. Everything was available to have a good stay. Before arriving, we received all the necessary information via Airbnb chat . The communication with Josette was always hassle-free, responses were informative and timely. The small village of La-Garde-Freinet is located in the mountains and offers a very good bakery, a small cheese shop, a small spar supermarket that supplies you with the most necessary and several coffees and restaurants in the central square. The place is well located for exploring the surrounding area (allow driving time over winding roads with nice views). Josette's house is lovingly furnished down to the last detail. The two floors of the old house are narrowly cut, each corner is very well used. We felt very comfortable from the first moment, the cleanliness, wonderful decor and ambiance made it easy to feel right at home. We would book the house again anytime! THANKS!
