In the grounds of a 15th century château - featured in a number of home & interior magazines - this beautifully converted, spacious, former stables is set in glorious gardens with views over our 10-acre truffle orchard. Full of character and charm, thick local limestone walls keep the house cool in summer yet cosy during colder, truffle-hunting months. The covered terrace is perfect for alfresco dining. This former artist's studio, which belonged to the photographer of the city of Saumur at the beginning of the 20th century, makes this place unique with its glass roof over 4 meters high, overlooking the oldest church in the city. The apartment is located in the hyper center, next to free parking, on a pedestrian street known for its many restaurants. This accommodation will allow you to access the Château on foot via the banks of the Loire or by walking the streets of the old town.
