Just a short walk away you will find downtown with shops and restaurants, as well as playground and park. There are also opportunities for swimming on the sandy beach close to the apartment. If you want ski trips, there are good opportunities for great trips of different lengths with a lovely view (the mountain right behind the apartment).

Knaben gard & Knaben via ferrata

The apartment at Knaben farm is located at Knaben in the west about 2 hours by car from kristiansand or stavanger. Knaben farm is 3 minutes by car from the Knaben mines or Knaben ski and activity center. Knaben is known for nice snow conditions in winter and nice hiking areas in the summer. 3 minutes by car from the apartment there are swimming opportunities and good fishing opportunities in Kvina. The swimming area is popular for guests on the hook. Above the apartment is a climbing wall called Knaben via ferrata.

Apartment with access to boat

This is the place for you who want peace, quiet and plenty of space around you. The apartment is rural with a nice view of the lake, in an area with a lot of nature and little noise. The lake below is known for good fishing opportunities. It is not uncommon to catch large trout here. You can rent a boat for NOK 300 a day or NOK 1,000 for a week, and it can be used for both rod and net fishing. The hosts live nearby and are happy to help with tips for good fishing spots, trips and other local experiences.
