There is a municipal hot spring, Ikoi-no-Ie, located nearby (1 minute by car). You can enjoy the scenery of Lake Toyako and the hot spring baths fed by the source spring for 450 yen. This is a pet-friendly log house that is rented as a whole house. It is located in the middle of the mountains, in a scenic location with a view of the morning sun and the sea. There is a 40,000 m² site, and outdoor campfires are also OK. The building was self-renovated using antique materials and plaster. There is a kids room with lots of wooden toys and a large hammock, and there is a hearth where you can BBQ indoors, so you can enjoy yakiniku indoors.
