Awesome place to spend a day or two near Joshimath. Very spacious room where we stayed as a family of four with hanging beds, large bathrooms and amazing view of the mountains all around. The access to the facility is a 30-40 step staircase from the highway but that also can be counted as an adventure The rock climbing, rappelling activity was awesome under the able guidance of ex paramilitary officer who did this on a daily basis during his service days. And he owns this B&B. His son Ajay who was out host was excellent and catered to all our requirements with a pleasant smile and eagerness to share wealth of knowledge and experiences with us about Uttarakhand and it’s culture. We learned a lot and our overall experience has been very positive

We enjoyed our stay at Yuki's place. All the staff was very helpful and friendly. Lunch, dinner and breakfast was also very well prepared and served. Location is great. Will surely recommend this place to our friends / relatives who will be visign Joshimath. Regards, Sonali

Staying in MULUK Homestay was a great experience. I along with my 12 colleagues stayed there for 3 nights, 3 days. MULUK is an offbeat and affordable place. Away from city noise. Best time to travel this place is Feb to Oct. We all just loved this place. We played cricket, enjoyed the bonfire arrangements by Prakash (Host), liked the morning walks around the stay and loved the homemade food cooked by a pahadi lady. Overall it was a relaxing and enjoyable trip. You can also enjoy swimming in Ramganga River around 30 kms drive to Jainal. In between you can enjoy dense forest and visit a very famous Hindu Temple (Manila Mata Temple). Manila is a beautiful place just 3 kms from MULUK. If you are really daring and wants to enjoy wildlife, then on Manila road in the early morning and night you have chances to see leopard, boars and birds. Stay inside your vehicle and be careful, they are not zoo animals. Planning to visit this place again with my friends in summers. About host: Prakash is a great host. Prakash is a well-mannered and soft spoken person. These are the qualities every guests wants from their host. I think no one will regret to choose his property on an offbeat place away from city noise for a good, relaxing vacation spot with family and friends. My full recommendation for Prakash. "We had an absolutely fantastic family stay at Manish's place. The atmosphere was friendly and peaceful, with the soothing sound of bird chirping in the background. The expansive lawn area allowed us to enjoy the outdoors, and we even had the option for lively music when we wanted. Complete privacy was a big plus, and we found a serene meditation area that added to the tranquility of the place. One unique aspect of this stay was the opportunity for clay making activities, which added an artistic and enjoyable touch to our visit. Manish's mother continued to be extremely helpful and homely, making our stay even more special. Bhandari ji, the caretaker, was exceptionally friendly and lively, always ready to assist with a smile. We couldn't have asked for a better host and caretaker. Highly recommended for those seeking a close-to-nature retreat with a wide range of activities and a warm, welcoming atmosphere."

I stayed here for a week for workcation & trek. A clean & healthy environment. Nice rooms with fantastic view of Tungnath temple & Chandrashila peak. Both airtel & jio network are good enough for workcation. The food was homely, simple and tasty, exactly what I expected. People are so nice and always ready to help. From accompanying till derotiatal & Jahndi top to giving tour of entire Sari village including some less accessible points, hosts Sunil & Dharma were very soft spoken & friendly. If I visit Sari I will definitely stay here.

Ideallic heaven is really a paradise . Starting from the trek downhill where you get spectacular view of the mountains and the clouds passing , next comes the welcome drink which was relishing and gave the beginning taste of their super 5star hospitality . The way Pawan bhaiya received us with a bright smile made us felt like home and the little cute kids there were the best company we had , not to forget a fur ball doggy Ghumroo who was very friendly. The food served was very delicious and on time. Pawan bhaiya was very helpful and took utmost care of our food needs. The walk around the village and the the people there felt like home . Didn't feel like leaving that place . But would definitely make a trip there soon with a longer stay . 😇

A rare gem in the Himalayas! Our stay at Chaukhamba Cradle was truly unforgettable. Shantanu and Shivam made us feel completely at home, going above and beyond to ensure our comfort. Amazing people and lovely conversations. We arrived late, exhausted from a rainy mountain trail, but were welcomed with warm smiles, hot tea, and incredible hospitality. They also served us a delicious local dinner and organic mountain cow milk — refreshing after a long Tungnath trek and a true taste of the hills. Mornings greeted us with stunning views of the Chaukhamba range, beyond words. The experience even brought back fond village memories in Pithoragarh for our parents. If you’re looking for peace, beauty, and heartfelt warmth — this place is a must. Stay at least 3–4 days to truly soak it all in.
