Includes wifi and Netflix access. The kitchen includes a fridge, toaster, jug, coffee, tea and sugar. There is a microwave and an induction cooker.

Country Retreat

Situated just 10 minutes from Taradale and the Mission Estate, or 20 minutes from Napier, this guesthouse offers the benefits of a peaceful rural setting, just a stones throw from all the action! Perfect for families, the property has a tennis court, playground, spa pool and swimming pool that guests are welcome to use. There are chickens and pigs to play with as well as sheep and the odd wild turkey or peacock to spot. There is a pond on the property that is surrounded by frogs in summer.

Cabin life in the country

2 cabins side by side with a forever changing view. Peace and quiet in the country to relax and unwind with family or friends. Each cabin is identical with a queen size bed, fridge, microwave and tv. There’s a spa pool between the 2 cabins. A bbq to cook your dinner on. The ablution block consists of a shower and toilet which is 10 metres away from the cabins . Attached is an outside sink to wash any dishes. There’s also a gym to use which is free to guests.

Sherenden Country Cottage - a rural location with modern comforts. We are 20 mins from Taradale (home of the fabulous Church Rd and Mission Estate wineries), 25 mins from Hastings (the Farmer's Market is popular) and 30 mins from Napier (an Art Deco delight). For those that prefer the outdoors, we are a short drive from scenic bushwalks such as Kaweka Lakes. If all of that sounds a bit too busy, just relax with a good book, a board game, or enjoy a long soak in the bath.

After cyclone Gabrielle hit, our river frontage has changed, replanting in process, becoming lovely and maturing . Our home is about 20 minutes from Napier, off the Taupo rd, and 10 minutes from the airport. Some wonderful cycle paths, walks,wineries and cafes not far away. The 2 bedroom appartment has its own private entrance .Games room and patio area. No kitchen but ,fridge,microwave, bbq etc About 300 metres from the river through a gate. (NB - the owners live upstairs)
