A former tyre workshop invites you to slow down: old logs, the tranquillity of nature and a traditional sauna provide the perfect setting for a holiday where you can leave your everyday worries behind. My days are filled with little joys: hoeing the vegetable garden, looking after the chickens, and cycling to the lake for a swim. You can fish or sit on the jetty as the sun goes down, and end the day with a relaxing sauna. The nights are quiet and bright – just like the old days

Cottage and barrel sauna - for those seeking peace and quiet

Idyllic Aukusti is a small home of a farming family from almost a hundred years ago. The cottage has been renovated as a summer place for all holidaymakers who love peace and old-fashioned style. There is no longer a wooden barn in the yard, but a barrel sauna, where you can sit on the terrace and let your gaze wander along the grain field rippled by the summer wind. And note that there is no one else in sight. The stream flowing behind the cottage is like a canyon, as the sandy land has drifted into Vesijärvi over the years.

Outdoor terrain right in the backyard and a short distance to the ski slope in winter. In the wooden sauna, you can enjoy the warm steam and the fire burning in the fireplace in the living room. The sauna cabin is also pet-friendly and there is a large fenced area in the yard, so your pet can be safely outdoors.

A lovely cabin on the shore of Kalkkistenkoski. On the terace you can grill, eat, enjoy the evening sun, lounge on the deck chairs or see the local bird populations. The cabin also has a sauna, hot tub and an indoor fireplace. The cabins kitchen has the essentials for cooking and the barbeque and outdoor fireplace can also be used for cooking.
