Holiday rentals with a patio in Kumily

Our stay in this beautiful home for 9 days was amazing. We absolutely loved this location on top of a hill. Just having brunch on the balcony while overlooking the windmills and the hills was so peaceful. The home itself was perfect. It had everything we needed. We were able to cook ourselves using the utensils in the kitchen, watch movies without hassle on the TV, enough space to dry clothes and also space for a car parking. We would definitely like to revisit this place. We couldn't find any food restaurants nearby but our caretaker's wife made us excellent food. We especially loved the puttu and egg curry she made. Me and my gf found tons of things to do around. We climbed a small hill with a church on top which is just 500m from the home. I went cycling around ramakkalmedu and saw beautiful things each time. We drove to munnar one day and had home made chocolates. Other days we just walked around and explored the beautiful flowers in kerela. Overall, we loved this place. Thank you!

The location and view was breathtaking. We loved that it was a private space, with an outdoor seating. The caretaker Shijo made amazing, affordable meals for us, and helped setup campfires in the evening. We had a great time. The property is located uphill, last 200mts towards the property was a narrow road but the caretaker was helpful when we came the first time and offered to drive our vehicle if we weren't confident with that stretch. We had a great, relaxing holiday with family. Thank you so much for the amazing hospitality!

Our stay was incredible, the house and property are truly beautiful and better than described. The house is spacious and comfortable. I will say that my husband and I traveled around India for 3+ weeks and Deepu's home was the only one with consistent, amazing hot water in the showers. Everything is sustainable, grown from the earth, and thoughtfully crafted. Deepu, Sanita, and Shijo were amazing hosts who were very responsive, kind, caring, and invested in us enjoying our time there. They went above and beyond to ensure this. Abraham is a gentleman host and proactive in his communications. His place exceeds the description and photos you see in Airbnb. The last 400 meters is a bit rough, but can be handled with careful driving. The pool looks like it's still under construction and once completed it will be an excellent addition. It's still usable, and we had a lot of fun in the water. The property is surrounded by greenery and mostly you will be hearing the birds singing and chirping. The food prepared by the inhouse chef is excellent, though one may have to stick to Kerala/TN cuisine. There is a restaurant just 500m from the property. Highly recommended property if you are planning for a get together. Probably some board games and a shuttle net will be a worthwhile addition.

Thomas was a very hospitable host that managed to solve our every need. He stays right beside so it was easy for him to come down in case of any problems we faced. Would recommend others to stay for sure.

Our family had an amazing stay at On The Rocks. The location is serene and beautiful. The cottage is perched up on the hill true to its name “On the Rocks” and offer an amazing view to the mountains through its big glass windows. The caretaker, Rashiq is very friendly and hospitable. We loved his home cooked meals and knowledgeable of the location. Highly recommended and would love to go back!

superhost for a reason. Gautham always had us communicated and asked promptly about any thing that we need. the caretaker in the property was also very prompt and we got bonfire and BBQ on time. the only thing that is a little bit tricky is reaching the parking of thumpayil hills, because Google maps shows shortcuts and that landed us in trouble. i would recommend taking to Gautham on how to reach and follow the same. food was good and Gautham also booked jeep ride for us for local attractions. the view from top of chakkipara hill above the property is breathtaking. We will definitely recommend this property for visitors if they want some adventure and are fine with secluded properties away from hustle and bustle of City. Here only sunlight and chirping of birds will be there.
