Available short-term for guests is a double bedroom with private bathroom for a single or couple. You will be sharing the rest of the house with us, a professional couple in our early thirties. We have recently made this room up to be an official guest room so please come and stay with us! There is a desk, chest-of-draws, wardrobe space, and the bed is super comfy! Our bedroom is at the other end of the house so you will have some privacy. Other areas are shared with us.

From Kumeu, travel along the scenic Kowhai Coast to Wellsford and Whangarei.

The Barn is situated behind one of the Mill workers cottages in the heart of Riverhead on half an acre of gardens and mature trees. Roaming the property you will see our free range chooks and Xena a Swedish Vallhund, you will hear Xena on arrival. Also situated on the property away from the Barn is a beehive which supplies a very tasty raw honey. You will feel like you are in the heart of the forest, surrounded by native trees. The Barn is a relaxing and peaceful place to spend time away.
