The House of Prayer

Welcome to our guest house where you can relax with the whole family in this peaceful accommodation. Four kilometres from the authentic wooden town of Nora in beautiful Bergslagen is the House of Prayer, built in 1901 and originally a mission house. Now a pleasant home with a large combined kitchen and living room where the church hall was previously located, as well as two spacious bedrooms and a bathroom. On a cold day, the open fire warms the hallway. The garden plot is available for socialising and play. A few hundred metres away there is a swimming area.

Cozy little house, 10 meters from the lake, 10 minutes outside Nora. Balcony, sauna, private swimming area, jetty and rowboat. Sunsets are best enjoyed in the hammock on the jetty (summer time). The main building is newly built in 2021 with a new and fresh kitchen and bathroom. Wood-fired fireplace. Open, bright floor plan. Large windows and glass doors facing the lake. Newly built sauna (ready to use), but the exterior and gazebo are still under construction. Quiet area close to forest with nice trails, including Bergslagsleden. Golf course about 3 km away.

Cabin with jetty by the lake Ullvättern

Lugnt och avskilt boende i gäststuga alldeles vid sjön Ullvättern. Tillgång till stor brygga med loungesoffa och solsängar. Roddbåt och vedeldad bastu ingår. Altan med utemöbler. Sovloft med 140 cm dubbelsäng och bäddsoffa 140 cm med dubbelsäng. Trappa från vardagsrummet upp till sovloftet. Kök med basutrustning, kyl/frys, spis med ugn, micro, brödrost, kaffebryggare. Ej diskmaskin. Toalett med WC, dusch, handfat och förvaringsskåp. Stugan ligger på samma tomt som värdens hus. Välkommen!

Unique lake front cabin on your own peninsula

Relax in this waterfront cabin on your own private peninsula in the beautiful Dalarna region. Enjoy the 200° water views and spend the days swimming or fishing from the private jetty with 2 kayaks available for use. Pick berries or mushrooms in the nearby forest or walk on beautiful trails. Cuddle up next to the fireplace and enjoy the sunset before bed. In the winter, experience the white landscape, walk or ski on the frozen lake. Alpine or cross-country skiing in close driving proximity.

Newly-equipped house with its own bay and rowboat

Lovely vacation home for those who like animals and nature! Here you can fish, swim, hike and cycle. In the nearby area, there are several nature reserves as well as hiking and biking trails. You have access to a simple rowing boat (life jackets can be borrowed) and your own swimming cove or you can borrow our jetty where you can dive or fish. We are located between Örebro and Karlskoga in Norhammar. Towels and sheets are not included. For an additional cost, they can be rented from the host.

"Livets Källa" - your own private island in Sweden

Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway. In the lake norr-älgen just outside the town of Hällefors lies this beautiful location. A private island that is self-sufficient with a sauna. So is life on this island as well. Of course, it is already unique to be able to book a house on a private island. The house/island exudes the simple Swedish life. The house is self-sufficient in electricity and (hot) water. Although that doesn't mean it's available indefinitely. Fabulous private

Elofs Stall, a new guest house in a historic building

Ett gammalt stall som renoverats till vackert semesterboende i lugn liten by mitt i Sverige. Rymligt kök i öppen planlösning med vardagsrummet. I köket finns en kamin, köksö med barstolar, matplats med plats för 6 personer vid bordet. Dubbel takhöjd ger en härligt luftig känsla. Utgång till uteplats med kvällsol och ostörd utsikt över hagar. På bottenplan finns även toalett med dusch och tvättstuga. En trappa upp finns tre sovrum samt en toalett.

Med stora fönster som släpper in naturen, en bekväm säng uppe på loftet, fullutrustat kök och badrum, vardagsrum med bäddsoffa och vedeldad kamin för extra mysfaktor. Njut av morgonkaffet på altanen med en bra bok eller ta en promenad i skogen. Perfekt för en avkopplande getaway.

Lovely cottage (bath & fishing)

A typical charming Swedish red cottage in lovely surroundings next to a lake (2 min walk) with your own bathing place with platform, access to boat and one canoe for up to 3/4 persons and free fishing (You can borrow simpel fishing equipment). Fully equipped main house with 3 bedrooms. Additionally 1 small house available with 4 beds. It is very quiet and peaceful here and you will see the sheep and horses graze near the house.

Welcome to a cozy 40 m2 cottage in a small countryside village, close to forests, hills and lakes. If you are looking for a comfortable living in the middle of nature for you and your family, this is a nice choice. The accommodation includes one canoe that can fit 3 adults. Life jackets and paddles also included. Walking distance to the lake and river. Transport of canoe to other lakes can be arranged for a small fee.
