FredrikLars farm at Nordmarksbergs Mansion

FredrikLars-gården adjacent to Nordmarksbergs Herrgård: 19th century or older. In this farm, the great inventor John Ericsson's grandfather Nils (b. 1747 – 1790) has lived. On a rock in the grounds of the farm, there should be a curtain with the name of Nils. Picture of this stone can be found in Värmlandsarkiv's photo archive on a picture from 1955 (photo Lennart Thelander, pictures SEVA_11229_36 and SEVA_11230-1), but has not been found in the present day. It's probably hidden by mortar that's been covered over the rocks.

The jacuzzi and sauna is available year-round. The swimming pool is open until 6th of October, perfect for cooling off during warmer months. We also provide two paddleboards. The little red house is about 90m away from of the Spannsjö, on which's shores my farm is the only real estate.Your little red house has everything you need, no matter the season: sleeping room with 4beds, living room, bathroom, fully functional kitchen and your own washing machine.Wifi is in the house.

Here you live undisturbed with the forest around the corner, Dammsjön just 1 km away for swimming, and a large gathering room with wood oven, wood stove and mountain forest stove that creates a warm and vibrant atmosphere. The grand piano is perfect for couples, small families, or those seeking retreat with soul and nature.

Welcome to our cottage with 5 beds. Deck overlooking Lake Usken. You will get part of the farm's beach with your own jetty with boat and furnished terrace. The cottage is on our farm with your own secluded garden Uskavi camping a few hundred meters away on foot and boat distance with cafe, lunch restaurant and mini golf. On the property, a cat lives and horses are in paddocks around. Please leave the cabin in the same condition as when you arrived.

The house is located in the middle of the forest, it is very quiet and peaceful. Perfect for getting away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. There are 3 lakes within 20 minutes walking distance and there are more than enough opportunities for walking, cycling, mountain biking, swimming, boating, motorcycling, etc. Open canoes (2) and the hot tub are available for rent. Charcoal is available for purchase.

The farm is located about 6 km north of Lindesberg. On the property, there are sheep and horses. Around there are nice walking paths and wonderful nature with mushroom and berry fields. About 30 km to the north is Kloten's fishing area. Close to Bergslagsleden. Swimming areas are located in the nearby area. Distance to Stockholm about 18 miles and to Örebro about 4.5 miles. Lindesberg has a train station.

Come and stay at our small organic farm. You have your own nice house by the lake with access to a sauna. Take a walk in the forest or on the paths around the farm and say hi to the animals. This is an active small scale farm with a genuine feeling! Experience real countryside with nature, silence and a sky full of stars :-)
